The Barista will have direct contact with the public at thier stand taking orders and making product. About the Venue Here at Green River Community College we serve the students and staff on campus. We are open Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am - 2pm. We have to barista stands on campus. The stand in the main building also serves pizzas and we jut got a new Boba tea machine. Responsibilities * Responsible for providing high quality, fresh products in a timely manner for delivery to guests. * Prepares items following company recipes and portioning requirements. * Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product. * Responsible for reporting any maintenance required for kitchen equipment. * Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. * Responsible for consulting with GM and Head Chef about drinks and food that will be served at the stand. * Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Qualifications * Previous barista experience preferred. * Able to operate espresso machine and boba machine. * Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. * Ability to speak, read and write in English. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. * Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations * Must be 18 or older Strengthened by our Differences.
