Morningstar Living is currently hiring full-time Cook and Cook Supervisor positions for our five-star senior living community in Nazareth, PA. This opportunity offers pay rates ranging from $16-$21 per hour with benefits including every other weekend off, health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
What will I do in this role?
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of food prepared and served.
- Use Culinary Production Records (CPR) and standardized recipes to produce menu items in correct portions and amounts.
- Assisting other kitchens with food preparation for the dining times when needed.
- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
What do I need in this role?
- Cooking experience of 5 years, preferably in batch cooking.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must work well on a team.
- Must be dependable.
- Must have visual acuity to read production sheets, menus and following provided recipes in accordance to our nutritional guidelines.
