Food Service Crew Member Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder. Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, we are required to pre-employment drug test all shipboard employees which includes testing for Marijuana and other controlled substances. They are responsible for educating clients on the use of our resistance-based machines and empowering them to push through our challenging workout. [solidcore] coaches are expected to be able to think quickly and provide clients of differing skill levels with support and motivation. Classes are intense but small, designed to allow our coaches to deliver each client with personalized attention and accountability in a group environment. The lights are low, the music is on point, and the community is [inspiring]. At their core, [solidcore] coaches are dedicated to and invested in helping those around them discover what they're truly capable of.
All [solidcore] coaches must undergo [solidcore]'s comprehensive training program. Our training groups are small as well as highly selective, allowing for individualized support and tight-knit relationships. Training managers are dedicated to the success of each trainee and provide ample feedback as well as trackable goals. Please note, prior fitness teaching experience or fitness certification is not required.

Roles and Responsibilities
Participating in team meetings and events
Learning new techniques and best practices from the coach community
Interacting and forming relationships with clients and the fitness community

Performing routine client-facing system tasks, including new account set-up, scheduling / canceling / rebooking classes, package purchases, and other general account needs as requested

Regularly interacting with clients and obtaining, assessing, and addressing information on client needs, expectations and levels of satisfaction; and responding to client requests and concerns promptly and effectively
Maintaining product knowledge for all studio retail operations, including class packages, apparel, and promotions
Being of service to our clients by being aware of studio issues, events, or schedule changes and communicating them to clients and [solidcore] team members as needed
Assisting the Area Manager, and Coaches in daily operations, including keeping the studio meticulously clean while working with our team to provide a superior experience to our clients, and other tasks or projects as needed
Notifying Area Manager and/or member of the studio management team of any employee or client complaints or grievances, and assisting the Area Manager to respond appropriately
Quickly addressing any maintenance or equipment issues that are visible to clients
Communicating with studio leads via axel, phone, and email to generate sales
Following up with client lists in axel to meet monthly sales quota Responding to client emails
Alerting coaches about client milestones and setting up the keychain and board for celebration
Required Skills and Experience
Availability to coach a minimum of 6 classes per week
The coaching/core crew role is part-time

What You'll Do

AMC provides a compensation range for open positions where required. Factors that may be used to determine actual compensation may include, but are not limited to, specific skill-set, relevant experience or geographic location. Overview:
This full-time Other Personal Services (OPS) position is based out of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN). The FWC is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, outcome-oriented individual to work as part of the Summer Camp kitchen team at the Everglades Youth Conservation Center (EYCC) in West Palm Beach. The incumbents will work with the summer camp team to deliver quality food service for EYCC campers and staff. EYCC is a residential summer camp that provides 3 meals a day to all participants throughout the summer. In addition to general kitchen duties, the incumbent will work with the kitchen manager to ensure all kitchen areas meet Health Department Standards.
As a part of FYCCN, the incumbent communicates with stakeholders, constituents, and partners and performs functions of this position with a strong understanding of FYCCN's mission, future goals, and practices. Conveys FYCCN's vision through effective programming, training, and outreach at the EYCC.
Interested individuals must be passionate about getting youth outside to create the next generation that cares about fish and wildlife resources.
Experience:
* A High School Diploma and at least two months of experience in a kitchen assistant or food service assistant role.
* Documented training or certification meeting Florida Statute 509.049 requirements such as the ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred but not required. A current Food Protection Manager certification is a plus.
Description of Duties:
Ensure EYCC's Food Service is in compliance with the Florida Department of Health and American Camp Association Standards.
* Complete required training related to ACA standards and be familiar with/follow all policies in regard to camper safety, risk management, reporting, etc.
* Follow all health department food hygiene guidelines outlined in Chapter 64E-11, Florida Administrative Code.
Assist with facility operations as required.
* Assist with all aspects of food service as needed (dishwashing, stocking, cooking, serving, etc.)
* Assist with janitorial cleaning of the facility as needed (sweeping, moping, cleaning equipment, and food preparation areas, etc.)
* Assist with weekly camper check-in (Consult with parents who have campers with food allergies or dietary restrictions).
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, constituents, and partners through in-person, and program/event interactions.

After completing Recruit Training, CSs attend a seven-week A school in Fort Lee, VA, where they learn food preparation, nutrition, and dining service. Education Opportunities
CSs can earn college credits through the American Council on Education for courses taken in this rating. Additionally, the United States Naval Community College (USNCC) offers degree

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and thank customers
Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems.
Relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages in kitchen operations by and and/or through the use of kitchen equipment, such as fryers, open-flamed gas grills, cooking vats, ice machines, food processors, and other smallwares while utilizing proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
Stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary food, beverage, packaging and service materials.
Stock salsa bars with appropriate levels of sauces, condiments, paper and utensils.
Fill food and beverage orders of customers as part of the coordinated kitchen and customer service operations.
Collect customer payments and return proper change to customers through use of cash register.
Unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials to restaurant.
Clean the interior and exterior of the entire restaurant premises. Cleaning work shall entail sweeping and mopping floors, scrubbing, rinsing and polishing tables, seats, windows, doors, countertops, kitchenware, and kitchen equipment, and removing unused items from dining area and litter from the premises.
Observes/follows alcoholic beverage laws, when applicable.
Maintain safe public access to the restaurant.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
