In-Store Crew Members are part of an Inshop tipping pool that is included on the employee's biweekly paycheck.
Group 120 Inc. dba Jimmy's John's is a fast paced, high energy workplace. We are looking for team members who will provide superior customer service, are self-motivated, have attention to detail, and enjoy interacting with customers. This includes having the ability to make a sandwich quickly and precisely, keep the store hospital clean, and follow systems and procedures.
Lunch shifts start between 10:00 am and 11:00 am and go to 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Evening shifts normally start between 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and end between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm. We're looking for both part-time and full-time employees to fill these positions, whichever works best for your schedule. We do our best to hire for, and maintain, a steady week to week schedule so you know what you're working before the schedule is published.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Making Freaky Fast sandwiches to consistent brand standards.
Assisting customers with their orders in the restaurant or over the phone.
Helping maintain a hospital clean store.
Prep product throughout the day.
Training usually last two to three weeks with instructional videos followed by hip-to-hip training with the shift manager. This training will last as long as needed though to ensure that we are getting things right.
While we do hire outside management as needed, we prefer to promote from within first. The chance to go through manager training is always present, with our own corporate level management training store in Mishawaka.

Culinary Specialists (CSs) operate and manage Navy messes and living quarters established to subsist and accommodate Navy personnel. The role they play in the morale of the ship is very important. CSs are needed on every ship and shore base in the Navy. Navy Culinary Specialists provide food service catering for admirals and senior government executives and operate the White House Mess for the President of the United States.
Responsibilities
The duties performed by Culinary Specialists include:
Preparing menus and ordering the quantities and types of food items necessary to prepare meals.
Operating kitchen and dining facilities.
Maintaining subsistence inventories and financial records.
Serving as personal food service specialists in commanding officers and admirals messes.
Operating and managing shipboard living quarters and shore-based hotel-type quarters.

What to Expect

Work Environment
CSs spend approximately 60% of their time assigned to fleet units and 40% to shore stations over a 20-year career. Their work environments include shipboard galleys, mess decks, and

Training & Advancement
After completing Recruit Training, CSs attend a seven-week A school in Fort Lee, VA, where they learn food preparation, nutrition, and dining service. Placement and advancement opportunities are excellent for qualified applicants. Advanced technical and operational training is available later in their careers.
Education Opportunities
CSs can earn college credits through the American Council on Education for courses taken in this rating. Additionally, the United States Naval Community College (USNCC) offers degree
programs, including a Naval Studies Certificate, that contribute toward an associate degree. These programs support professional development and educational advancement. CSs may also take advantage of voluntary education programs such as the Navy College Program, Tuition Assistance, and the Post-9/11 GI Bill to further their education while serving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist Food Service Director in performing any combination of the following tasks:
Wash, peel, etc., vegetables
Prepare poultry and meats
Prepare breads
Stir and strain soups and vegetables
Weigh and measure foods
Carry pans, pots, etc.
Store food and check inventory
Clean utensils and area
Wash pots and pans
Distribute food and supplies
Assist in any area of kitchen or dining room, as requested by food service director or head cook.
Be on time for meals and activities.
Keep your own area clean and tidy. Campers follow what they see. A parent's first impression of you and your cabin space may influence their entire perception of their camper's week of camp.
Pick up litter when you see it. It is our responsibility to maintain the grounds and facility.
Recycle - be a leader here - our environment depends on our leadership.
Behavior and attitude will reflect support of Mission and Programs at all times.
Respect and honor staff curfew.
Show respect to all campers and staff.
Maintain a responsible leadership role when participating in activities and events led by other staff members.
Support programs through participation. Be prepared to step into a leadership role when confronted with severe weather, emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances.
