Cookeville’s public hospital began as a 15-bed private clinic built by a local surgeon just off the town square in 1921.
In 1996, the $1.3 million True Medical Clinic was built to provide space for several physicians.
In 1999, The Beck opened its doors.
Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital completed the health care circle when it opened the Wellness Center in October of 2002.
