Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support the growth of the business. This position is primarily responsible for timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payrolls for multiple entities. The Payroll Specialist ensures compliance with various state and federal regulations, while maintaining data as required by all governmental agencies. Our restaurant concept has over 65 locations in 12 states, with plans for significant growth. This position will be a part of the Accounting and Finance team and is located at the Restaurant Support Center in Downers Grove, IL. We offer a hybrid work environment with 3 days in office; 2 remote. During payroll processing days (biweekly on Thursday, Friday & Monday), you will be required to work in the office. What You'll Do: Systems & Cloud Infrastructure * Manage on-premises and cloud-based compute environments (primarily Azure) across corporate and restaurant systems. * Oversee Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, patching compliance, file systems, backups, and identity platforms. * Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability to support Cooper's Hawk's rapid growth. * Partner with Field Services for seamless deployment and management of restaurant back-office systems. Restaurant & Hospitality Technology * Own lifecycle and uptime of restaurant technologies including POS (Simphony), KDS, BOH servers, and local infrastructure. * Support technology provisioning and execution for new restaurant openings (NRO), retrofits, and remodels. * Drive observability, remote management, and issue resolution across all locations. End User & Mobility Management * Lead strategy for endpoint management across desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). * Administer and evolve solutions like Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or other MDM/EMM platforms for device compliance and security. * Standardize image deployment, user profiles, software packaging, and support documentation. * Manage EUC lifecycle-from procurement and provisioning to repair, refresh, and disposal. Support & Operational Readiness * Develop SLAs and escalation workflows with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams. * Define and monitor KPIs for support performance, patching, system availability, and user satisfaction. * Ensure business-hours and holiday coverage plans are in place for critical technology systems. Team & Vendor Leadership * Lead a team of engineers and specialists focused on system uptime, supportability, and innovation. * Develop people through coaching, cross-training, and a strong service mindset. * Manage vendor relationships and RFP processes for mobility, hardware, and managed services. * Collaborate with restaurant leadership, service desk, security, and other internal partners.
