Short Description
Responsible for the management of clinical and business operations of assigned sites, including the delivery of quality clinical services, improving patient experience, materials management, software implementations, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, environment of care, and facility management, making themselves or designee available after hours for emergency issues such as facility or operational issues due to weather, call outs or other unforeseen circumstances.
Minimum 3 years experience in a healthcare leadership, manager level or above. A combination of education, experience and background may also be considered.
Skill in exercising a high degree of leadership, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve local and organizational objectives.
Demonstrated experience in improvement of assigned areas outcomes through creative and sustainable tactics.
Knowledge and ability to utilize electronic health record in order to monitor key practive statistics, patient access metrics and clinic operations.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Comfort in communication with all levels of personnel.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, patient experience and operational improvement within the ambulatory setting.
Strong knowledge of principles and practices of business/medical administration, management and relationship management.

Responsibilities

* Manages a team of Revenue Cycle Analysts to ensure all policies & procedures are followed. Oversees workflow implementations, desktop procedures & departmental policies & procedure creation & implementation.
* Serves as the primary liaison between clinical departments and revenue cycle operations.
* Responsible for identifying revenue opportunities in all aspects of the revenue cycle, creating project plans, and implementing operational and systematic solutions.
* Provides analysis of reporting and performance data to assist management, department administrators and chairs with key decisions.
* Prepares and delivers monthly presentations to clinical department heads and finance on key performance indicators.
* Collaborates with the denial management team to analyze AR reports identifying denial trends, reporting findings and results to identify and drive process improvement.
* Monitor, analyze and present key provider productivity metrics with comparisons to internal and external benchmarks
* Individual will help facilitate best practice model, make recommendations, assist with developing and executing plans for standardization and improvement.
* Identify positive and negative revenue cycle trends to determine root causes and corrective solutions to minimize denials and enhance collection rate.
* Achieve proficiency in querying system for data and reports.
* Works closely on interface and system issues as required, improving generation of data.
* Develop and deploy standardized solutions and improvement plans for solving operational issues.
* Meet with clinical department leadership to review and discuss revenue cycle scorecards and dashboards.
* Represent at committees, task forces, and/or revenue cycle work groups.
* Manages relationships and expectations, establishing regular communication processes to keep leaders informed about projects, results, and new initiatives.
* Develops advanced frameworks for underpayment appeals, tracking resolution metrics, and leading payor engagement to drive improved reimbursement outcomes.
* Maintain current knowledge regarding reimbursement mechanisms and presents strategic updates on reimbursement and contracting issues to departments and CRO leadership.
* Ensures strict adherence to HIPPA, Billing Compliance and other pertinent regulations.
* Acts as a business partner with new business partners and joint ventures.

* Manage and optimize key operational processes to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Division.
* Oversee business function metrics within the division and make evidence-based decisions after evaluating the effectiveness of action plans that have been implemented. These include but are not limited to salary/supply budget, payroll, productivity, volume, and capital spending.
* Prepare and present Monthly Operational Analytics Reports for the senior leadership.
* Manage the Administrative Residency Program for the Division of Operations (MHA fellowship)
* Assist the COO in preparing annual operating budgets, capital business plans, P&L`s, and new program plans as needed.
* Prepare and analyze monthly budget expense variance reports for the division of operations to measure actual performance against established standards.
* Using data-driven insights develop and update organizational design to maximize productivity, maintain and improve quality, and control costs.
* Lead collaborative opportunities within the division and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and/ or new program development.
* Develop and maintain dashboards of key performance metrics for monthly financial reporting, and variance analysis.
* Create and evaluate volume referral reports for outpatient services along with departmental productivity for the division of operations.
* Oversee strategic projects in partnership with Operational Directors to ensure successful implementation.
* Utilize various data management tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data in a particular department or division.
* Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to operational throughput and proactively design/implement solutions to meet the needs.

Reporting to the SVP and Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Manager of Operations Business Analytics will be responsible for providing leadership, expertise, and operational efficiencies for the entire division of operations through data-driven strategies. Working in collaboration with other divisional directors, the manager will gather and analyze operational and financial data to implement strategies for continuous improvements in productivity and growth. The Manager will support the COO in financial management by assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, growth projections, business plans, monthly reports with budget variances, volume analysis, and productivity. For the division of operations, the manager will be responsible for managing the Administrative Residency Program and taking on special projects related to optimizing operational and financial efficiency, and performance by using data insight for evidence-based decision-making. The position will oversee the collection of business metrics of the departments and team members that perform these functions will report directly to this position.
Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing HMH/HUMC's mission, vision, and values.
Develop an operational plan for achieving administrative, operational, and business objectives in line with HUMC`s objectives.
Manage and optimize key operational processes to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Division.
Oversee business function metrics within the division and make evidence-based decisions after evaluating the effectiveness of action plans that have been implemented. These include but are not limited to salary/supply budget, payroll, productivity, volume, and capital spending.
Prepare and present Monthly Operational Analytics Reports for the senior leadership.
Manage the Administrative Residency Program for the Division of Operations (MHA fellowship)
Assist the COO in preparing annual operating budgets, capital business plans, P&L`s, and new program plans as needed.
Prepare and analyze monthly budget expense variance reports for the division of operations to measure actual performance against established standards.
Using data-driven insights develop and update organizational design to maximize productivity, maintain and improve quality, and control costs.
Lead collaborative opportunities within the division and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and/ or new program development.
Develop and maintain dashboards of key performance metrics for monthly financial reporting, and variance analysis.
Create and evaluate volume referral reports for outpatient services along with departmental productivity for the division of operations.
Oversee strategic projects in partnership with Operational Directors to ensure successful implementation.
Utilize various data management tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data in a particular department or division.
Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to operational throughput and proactively design/implement solutions to meet the needs.
Develop collaborative working relationships with peers, system leaders, physicians, and other colleagues throughout HackensackUMC. Participate in planning activities and contribute to system strategic planning efforts.
Undertakes special projects as requested by the COO.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive project management and leadership oversight experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills, including experience presenting to executives.
Able to focus on long-term goals while managing day-to-day operations.
Ability to exercise initiative, creativity, and courage.
Confident in interacting with stakeholders at all levels, including patients/ family, co-workers, providers, physicians, and administration.

Short Description Direct responsibility for the daily operations of Central Sterile Processing across the organization; including but not limited to: overseeing daily practice operations, infection prevention, safety, recruitment, retention, adherence to policies and procedures, support ongoing education of staff, and ensure a Culture of Service and quality is being fostered and ensure the promoting positive patient outcomes. Experience Required
6-10 years progressive CSP and leadership experience required.
In depth knowledge of the following standards: AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation), AORN, FDA, JCAHO, and OSHA.
Computer and financial management experience required.
Education Requirements
Associates degree required.
Bachelor's/Master's preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
Current licensure as a NJ-CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) required.
Valid Driver's license.
