Short Description
* The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for executing audits of operational, financial, and clinical functions from start to completion under the consultative direction of the Director of Internal Audit.
* Performs special reviews and investigations of operations as requested.
* Manages project assignments and timelines to ensure the timely and effective completion of assigned projects.
* Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and creating process narrative and documents control design, implementation, and operating effectiveness.
* Gains a comprehensive understanding of assigned audit business operations, processes, and business objectives and then utilize that knowledge on assigned audits.
* Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos.
* Identify and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning reviewed areas.
* Communicate the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
* Perform follow-up on audit findings to ensure corrective action is implemented.
* Independently and proactively identifies and pursues professional development opportunities that align to development needs, current or emerging risks, and assigned audit work plan projects.
* Timely reporting of obstacles and provides regular progress reports of overall audit to management.

Certified or able to obtain professional certifications including, but not limited to, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Health Care Internal Auditor Professional (CHIAP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) within 90 days of hire.
Special Requirements
Familiarity with computer-assisted audit software such as Visio, Power BI, Tableau, Alterity, or Diligent (formerly ACL) is desired.
* Advanced technical aptitude and experience performing undeveloped financial and operational audits.
* Skilled in general audit methodology and developing key internal audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.

What you will do
The Rapid Response Nurse is a highly-skilled licensed practitioner trained to respond and support bedside nurses and practitioners when urgent and emergent situations arise. The Rapid Response Nurse is a resource who exercises independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problems, as well as staff nurses throughout the organization in managing urgent and emergent situations.
The Rapid Response nurse serves in a roving role addressing multiple needs and situations as they arise through the shift, but may be required to assume patient care assignments in the critical care units.
Workflows are based on urgent patient care needs, however, the rapid response nurses will also have assigned tasks to complete such as projects, staff education, performance improvement data collection, etc.
A collaborative member of the health care team, the Rapid Response Team RN delivers nursing care to specific populations of patients. The Rapid Response Team RN will work collaboratively with the Medical Critical Care charge nurse(s) to ensure high quality delivery of care and to maintain continuity of care through appropriate referral and follow-up. The Rapid Response Team RN is an active member of the Rapid Response Committee, Trauma Committee, and the MTP Committee.
The Rapid Response Nurse collaborates with the House Supervisors to triage priorities that support patient care needs.
Responds to all Rapid Response Team calls. This will include Code Blue, S.T.A.T., Trauma, and Massive Transfusion Protocol. Completes post S.T.A.T. Event follow-up and documentation.
The Rapid Response Nurse may also provide consultative resources.
Facilitates debriefings / critiques of Code Blue events.
Reviews on a daily basis the medical records of restrained patients, to ensure standards of care are being met.
Communicates on a daily basis with each charge nurse to identify high risk patients.
Uses critical thinking and assessment skills to serve as a resource to colleagues and assist with emergency/urgent patient care needs throughout the facility.
Performs assessment / data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiological and cognitive status.
Formulates a prioritized and goal directed plan of care, that is based on patient's presenting problems and projected outcomes. Implements care in a knowledge, skillful, consistent manner, while promoting the continuum of care.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the health care process (self, systems, environment, and instrumentation) as related to meeting patient outcomes.
Documents in patient and department records in a timely, accurate and concise manner according to the department standards.

Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Produces 2D, 3D, 4D ultrasonic recordings of fetal organs for use by physicians. Increasing demand for our services creates this immediate opportunity for an extremely competent Sonographer to apply non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for prenatal diagnosis. Ultrasound examinations include a variety of conditions ranging from routine OB/GYN to high risk obstetrical scans to include but not limited to, nuchal translucency, fetal anatomy survey, Doppler studies, biophysical profile, fetal echocardiograms and endovaginal scans. Experience also includes ability to perform guidance for amniocentesis, chronic villus sampling, and other procedures commonly performed in a MFM program. This person must be able to work independently and as a part of a team as well have knowledge of high risk conditions. The sonographer is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic program, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA).

What you will do
Properly use dispensing and barcoding technology to ensure accurate medication selection, stocking, and order fulfillment for all patient orders. Ensure accuracy of prescription and patient data entered in various systems. Review all relevant clinical information and clarifies with pharmacist/prescriber as appropriate. Works with payers to resolve insurance-related issues, assists with financial assistance programs as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service to health care providers and patients, by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests with pharmacist supervision, and responding to messages in the Epic In Basket and Epic Secure Chat.
Provide support to pharmacists by answering telephone calls and responding to messages. Will include research of basic clinical questions and drug information and drug compatibility questions.
Will undertake clinical functions under pharmacist supervision up to level of education including but not limited to the offering and provision of counseling to patients on medications and administration of vaccinations.
Manipulate and dispense hazardous and non-hazardous medications per department procedure.
Complies with HIPAA/HITECH regulations.
Assist in the planning, implementation, and process management of technological initiatives and pharmacy workflow improvements.
Manage and maintain medication outdates for assigned areas as required. Receive and stock the daily medication order from drug wholesaler. Operate the point-of-sale system to ring out customer transactions, including making change when required.

Performs and accurately reports point of care testing, including quality control and proficiency testing, as assigned.
Monitors supplies and inventory for area of responsibility. Cleans and maintains specimen processing and testing benches and equipment.
Alert to sources of error. Determines duplicate and incorrectly ordered tests. Follows procedures for confirmation of frequently misordered tests.
Packages specimens per International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations and facilitates transfer of specimens to primary and reference laboratories.
