When we visit websites, we are asked if we want to subscribe to alerts on promotions or to newsletters. The same happens when we sign up for credit cards or other services. At times, our email addresses would receive various emails from different companies or websites. We often ignore these emails unless the sender is really interesting to us or something we anticipate. We rarely think about the marketing team who put in the effort to create the emails. Did you know that sending out these emails takes a whole team to do? One member of this team is the coordinator of email marketing.

Coordinators of email marketing are responsible for ensuring that marketing emails are sent out at the expected time. They act as the liaison between the content team, the design team, and the communications team. They ensure that the output expected from each of the teams involved is submitted within the agreed-upon timeline. They also ensure that the correct recipients receive the email. At times, they may also be assigned to track engagement or responses.

If you have good communication skills and coordination skills, you might like this job. It also helps if you have a charming personality!
