Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities • Manage Request for Proposals for organizational resource programs & processes. • Manage organizational resource programs and processes through direction of both internal and third-party personnel. Resources include updates, reporting, and annual performance goals. • Manage and oversee Board Insight Committees. Lead board meeting teams consisting of Board of Directors, Committee Members, and member companies through planning and strategies to direct our organization's resources. • Prepare reports to the Board of Directors of both committee and departmental program resource strategies, updates, and focuses. Present at the business meetings. • Provide key communications through our organization website, app, and related social media communications in compliance with our organization's communications policies. • Manage and coordinate the planning, scheduling, logistics and successful launch of education programs. • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to develop and implement education programs that align with the association's goals. • Coordinate with speakers, trainers, and subject matter experts to secure their participation in Education Events • Ensure all educational materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned with the industry standards and best practices. • Respond to inquiries, provide information, and address concerns related to Education programs. • Participate, communicate and execute feedback from committees. • Contribute to the development of program performance metrics and key performance metrics. (KPIs) • Meet with members and prospective members to review education programs. • Participates and helps with executions of What's in Store Live. • Assist with sponsorship acquisition, order products, and ensure products are well represented. • Assist in creating and implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote educational programs and events. • Assist in production of annual trends publication. • Stay up to date on industry trends, educational practices, and government policies. • Perform other projects and duties as assigned to assist in meeting departmental and organizational goals and initiatives. Position Requirements/Qualifications • Food Service, Deli, Bakery or Grocery Industry experience preferred • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to represent the association with optimism, positivity, flexibility and professionalism within association committees and industry. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to manage program timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Physical Requirements • Travel up to 21 days per year to fulfill and support organizational events, meetings, & resource commitments. • Regular sitting at desk with regular exposure to computer screens. • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
