We are seeking applicants for Treatment / Wound Care Nurse, RN
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing, the Treatment Nurse is responsible for the skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.
Qualifications:
Current RN. license by State required with experience in the long term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.
Wound care or treatment certifications in the state where the specific duties are being performed is preferred but we will certify the right applicants.
Duties:
Oversee all direct wound care activities to assure practices are consistent
Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care in residents
Manage and treat specific skin disorders
Coordinates weekly skin rounds
Perform assessment evaluations using techniques including observation, and inspection
Confer with the Care Planning Team in the development of the care plan
Provide treatment for skin disorders within established wound care protocol
Monitor the use of preventive measures such as inspection, turning and positioning
Precept new nurses and demonstrate individual procedures to new nursing personnel
Order and tracks the usage of supplies/equipment in prevention and treatment
Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices, the regulatory guidelines and the policies and goals of this facility
Provides information to resident and caregivers on prevention techniques and other ways to maintain or improve the general health and psychosocial status of the resident

Job Summary
The overall objective is to drive performance improvements in Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS), Quality, Revenue, and Cost. This position reports to the Process Engineering Manager from within the Technical Group at the Burkville site
How You Can Be the Impact
Identify and conduct performance improvement projects and engineering studies, including plant trials.
Provide routine technical support to troubleshoot plant issues and implement corrective actions.
Lead and/or support site improvement initiatives and programs.
Key interfaces include Operations and Maintenance leaders and technicians, project engineers, process control engineers, Technology representatives, along with frequent exposure to site level management.
Individual will also interact with other sites around the globe to translate best practices.
What Matters to SABIC
· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Preferred: Chemical or Mechanical).
· Five years (or more) experience in chemical manufacturing and/or extrusion environment.
· Technical/Professional Knowledge.
· Project management principles.
· Chemical engineering fundamentals.
· Preferred: Polymerization and/or extrusion technologies.
· Preferred: Process safety principles (i.e. PSM activities, engineering standards).
· Preferred: Quality management systems (i.e. Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, SPC).
· Preferred: Process troubleshooting techniques (i.e. root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis).
Physical Requirements: Meets physical and mental requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations, of the position. Capable of performing sustained physical activities including but not limited to walking, climbing ladders, stairs, standing, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
