CT technologists, operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. In addition to conducting scans, CT technologists prepare patients for these diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Additional Qualifications/Skills: * Two (2) years previous experience preferred. * Hospital experience strongly preferred. * Ability to project a professional image. * Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. * Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. * Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. * Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. * Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
