As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for organizing and driving client deliverables individually or as part of a team. Additionally, you will utilize strong technical abilities to ensure thorough compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and/or review Trust (1041), Estate (706), and Gift (709) tax returns.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to gather information and resolve client matters.
Communicate effectively with Trustees and Beneficiaries as needed.
Research tax laws and offer support on technical tax issues.
Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners.
Share technical expertise to support the firm and clients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Trust, estate, and/or gift tax experience.
Proven ability to meet firm standards for chargeable hours and realization.
Experience serving as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
Experience with Individual (1040) and Partnership (1065) tax returns.
CCH Axcess Suite experience.

About our Transaction Advisory Services Team:
The TAS Practice assists financial and strategic investors and lenders in connection with evaluating complex acquisition and divestiture transactions. Our professionals have decades of experience advising clients in every aspect of the transaction, from pre-LOI stage through closing. We are looking for professionals in selected geographic and functional markets to add to the continued growth and expansion of our TAS practice.
