In this role, you will coordinate, administer, and execute company-wide community engagement programs and employee engagement initiatives. The specialist will play a key role in supporting CopperPoint's philanthropic strategies, fostering a culture of employee engagement, and ensuring alignment with our organizational values. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position will serve as a connector between employees, executives, nonprofit organizations, and internal engagement programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Community Involvement & Corporate Giving
* Promote employee participation with nonprofit, civic, and business organizations to enhance CopperPoint's community presence and brand visibility.
* Coordinate Community Giving programs and employee volunteer opportunities; including United Way and internal giving campaigns, donation drives, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts.
* Support administratively the Community Giving steering committee, Community Board Placements with the Executive Committee, including keeping records, scheduling regular meetings and drafting communications.
* Administer the company's scholarship program by identifying opportunities, fostering community partnerships, and tracking related budgets and awards.
* Track and report the impact of community giving initiatives to measure effectiveness and reinforce alignment with company goals.
* Oversee the administration and tracking of the company and employee charitable matching gift program.
* Partner with internal communications to share stories, results, and employee involvement related to Community Giving on the company intranet.
Employee Engagement & Culture
* Perform the administration and planning for company-wide employee engagement initiatives including surveys, action planning, and follow-up reporting.
* Serve as the primary administrator and liaison for Employee Networking Groups (ENGs), providing guidance and support for growth and inclusion initiatives.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to align engagement efforts with broader HR and business strategies.
Qualifications/Competencies:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
* 3-5 years of proven acumen and experience in community relations, employee engagement, or HR program administration is required.
* Proven ability to connect with or build a network with community partners and prior experience in corporate giving and/or nonprofit partnerships is required.
* Experience supporting or administering HR programs is preferred
* Insurance or financial services industry experience is a plus
* Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* High emotional intelligence and ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

The claims admin will also respond to phone calls and email requests from in house claims attorneys as well as requests from outside defense counsel on policies. Prefer someone who has worked in a professional liability and/or general liability company and provided admin assistance to attorneys and claims analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist claims analysts with setting up new claims, to include log entry, review of pleading and/or claim letter, and setting up VPN files.
· Pull policies, as may be directed by in-house claims analysts and send to coverage counsel, insured and/or defense counsel as directed.
· Participate in discovery requests for policy information as may be requested by claims analyst.
· Keep current forms folder, and dedicated VPN folders for all claims' functions.

· Keep ongoing diary/log of activity in claims including opening/closing of new cases, and probable claim events.
· Answering phone, reception for visitors, ordering office supplies.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of insurance market (underwriting and claims)
· High volume of cases reported weekly, and person must be able to complete entry and all files set up efficiently.
· Highly skilled in data-based systems such as excel, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
· Ability to analyze problems and make effective decisions.

* Work with Risk/Safety Managers to identify, plan, develop and implement safety programs designed and accident and claim prevention strategies and tactics to reduce their overall cost of risk.
* Develop, implement, and monitor loss control service plans.
* Leverage analytical tools and loss data to identify client loss trends and effective remedial measures.
* Support client prospecting, sales, and renewal presentation efforts.
* Partner with carrier counterparts on providing client service.
* Function as client-advocate when dealing with carrier loss control recommendations and requirements.
* Develop and provide safety training programs to clients as required.
* Provide face to face and web-based client training for medium to large groups.
* Function as a technical expert and provide client support regarding OSHA, fire safety, DOT, general liability, workers' compensation and related issues and questions.
* Keep informed on current development of federal and state safety laws likely to affect clients.
* Prepare written correspondence, analyses, reports, and memos as needed.
* Accumulate required continuing education credits to maintain current certifications.
* Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to customers.
* Communicate in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment.
* Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position.
* Respond in a timely manner to the requests and needs of clients and Lockton associates.
* Participate in and contribute to the growth and education of the Loss Control team.
* Attend staff meetings, department meetings, education workshops, and social functions.
* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
