General Description
Responsible for operation of Copy Center and all finishing aspects related to Printing Services' daily operations.
Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities
•Responsible for performing all operational aspects of Printing Services as directed by the
Manager of Printing Services.
•Perform all aspects of the Copy Center and Finishing areas.
•Set-up, operate & maintain Black & White High Speed Multi-Function Copiers,
Multi-Function Color Copiers and Wide-Format Printer in Printing Services.
•Set-up & manipulate digital files to meet Copy Center production requirements.
•Set-up, operate & maintain Power Paper Cutter. Perform all related cutting assignments.
•Set-up, operate & maintain GBC Comb Binding and Fastback Binding systems. Perform all
related binding assignments.
•Set-up, operate & maintain Baum 2018 Folder. Perform all related folding, scoring, perfing
& trimming aspects and assignments.
•Set-up, operate & maintain Padding Press. Perform all related padding assignments.
•Make necessary pick-ups and deliveries.
•Assist in monitoring & maintaining the College's fleet of multi-function copiers and student
printers.
•Provide customer service and assistance to members of the College Community using
Printing Services.
•Process & handle incoming & outgoing requests.
•Perform record keeping related to all aspects of Printing Services.
•Monitor, maintain & report inventory levels of supplies related to daily operations.
•Cross-trained and perform in all aspect of Printing Services and College operations as
assigned by the Manager of Printing Services.
•Perform & assist in any and all duties assigned by the Manager of Printing Services.
Education Requirements
High School diploma required.
Experience
•Operator experience in Copy Center / Print Shop environment.
•Experience operating & maintaining Black & White High Speed Multifunction Copiers, Multi-Function Color Copiers and Wide-Format Printers in Copy Center / Print Shop
environment.
•Experience using Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat software, PDF files, and related graphic design software applications.
•Experience setting up, operating & maintaining finishing equipment in a Copy Center / Print Shop environment including folders, cutters, and bindery equipment.
Competencies and Skills Required
•Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
•Must be able to work independently, quickly, and accurately in a fast paced,
quality and production-oriented environment.
•Must be quality oriented and able to produce materials in accordance with college
Standards reflecting the College in a professional and positive manner.
•Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work under related pressures.
•Must be able to multi-task in a production-oriented environment.
•Must be able to safely operate, recognize & report safety issues related to a production

Physical Demands and Work Environment
•This position's duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work
environment, based on the activity scheduled.

•Some physical effort required. The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
•No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
•Some travel required.
Salary

Hours to be assigned based on the College's Academic calendar, College's posted holiday calendar and summer hours when applicable. Employee must be willing & able to adjust work schedule to meet College needs. Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to all on and off- campus sites as needed by the college. Employee must establish primary residency in New Jersey within one year of appointment.
