ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the plant's executive management team, the Operations Manager II will be responsible for managing and directing employees in daily production activities to meet our customer's requirements and maximize the company's operational effectiveness. WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Manages and develops the team in the production area to establish our company culture that supports our R.A.P.I.D.S. core values and trusted resource brand.
Coordinates activities with other departments including inventory, supply chain, maintenance and SHE regulatory for production campaign planning, production startup, review of SOP, production close out, problem solving and incident investigation.
Supervises communications with active toll customers concerning production campaigns, plant tours and inspections for all approved outside parties.
Maintains an understanding of all QA methodology for our products to ensure that all quality requirements, processes and procedures are met.
Creates and manages training in all phases of production operation including operation of equipment, safety, packaging and line troubleshooting and maintenance.
Maintains an understanding of all customer and the company's reporting requirements in OPM and Kronos for labor tracking.
Ensures that training and accurate timely reporting is performed in all production areas and for labor tracking to batches or activities for accurate product costing.
Creates budget results for assigned product area to include allocation of resources, risk management, production efficiencies and overall cost management to meet customer and company requirements.
Responsible for safety performance, regulatory compliance performance, quality performance and production efficiency within assigned areas.
Analyzes and maintains throughput rates and on-stream time by demonstrating strong analytical ability to achieve maximum operational results.
Reviews utilization rates by area and product and makes recommendations and improvements to processing as needed.
Develops and meets plant operation budgets.
May be required to drive a company vehicle.
Manages other members of the team.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The Transportation Driver is responsible for providing safe transit for clients to and from Adult Day Centers, Personal Care Homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and their private homes. It is vital that Transportation Drivers be comfortable working with disabled, elderly and clients from diverse backgrounds. It is preferred that Drivers are familiar with the service areas.
Essential Duties
Drivers are expected to drive a wheelchair lift van
Lifting people in their wheelchairs up or down stairs at the house's door may be necessary.
Drivers are expected to keep in contact with supervisor/dispatcher by using a cell phone.
It is the responsibility of the Drivers to let dispatch know when they are picking up or dropping off clients.
Drivers are responsible for getting directions for the following day's pickups.
Drivers are responsible for leaving ample time to arrive at pickups. If for any reason a pickup can't be made at the scheduled time, Drivers are responsible for notifying dispatch in advance.

Provide constant support and care to residents including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, assisting with eating and hydration, skin care, positioning, and independent living skills.
Assist residents to prepare meals and snacks according to weekly menus posted by the Site Leader.

Assist residents in cleaning, folding, ironing and caring for their laundry and linens.
Insure residents are dressed neatly and appropriately according to the weather and activity.
Transport residents to other services, medical appointments, outings, and other events as scheduled.
Support residents and follow the activities, outings, and other events planned/scheduled by the Site Leader and/or Residential Manager.
Attend resident medical appointments as needed.
