JOB SUMMARY
As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced part-time Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive light delivery truck (under 26,000 GVW) for pick-up and delivery of aircraft parts and other related materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Verify load against shipping papers.
• Drive truck to outside customer locations and deliver/pick up customer orders and supplies.
• Inspect truck equipment and vital fluids daily keeping all filled to manufacturer's recommendations and fill out daily and weekly preventative maintenance logs.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Load and unload trucks in a manner so as to ensure all parts and supplies are protected against damage.
• Sign all paperwork relevant to the work picked-up.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with Skills Inc. employees and customers' representatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a forklift or be willing to be trained and become certified.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and directly to customers, co-workers and supervisory personnel both verbally and in writing.

Essential Duties
Plan and execute your daily delivery route efficiently and independently.
Review customer orders, pick and stage materials in the warehouse, and load products accurately.
Deliver to customer locations, unload products, and place items in designated areas.
Communicate customer needs such as order changes, shortages, or product concerns to internal teams.
Follow all company and DOT safety procedures at all times.
