Job Category Retail Position Summary The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. Maintenance Technician (Nights 2-2-3) The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair. The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. About the Role Facilities Technicians contribute to the smooth and efficient production of lasers and laser systems by troubleshooting equipment and servicing facilities used to manufacture semiconductors and electronics. You will often be working in a clean room and in areas where high powered lasers are operating. Shift available: Monday-Friday 8A-4:30P Functions Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed equipment, Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment. Ensure the efficient and prompt handling of all department work orders and requests. Assembling and plumbing piping and duct work. Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment. Handling Chemicals used for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. Respond to emergencies. Assist as required in cooperation with all personnel in the performance of general day-to-day duties and responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Be available on call to respond to emergency situations pertaining to the System failure, water leaks, etc. Qualifications Formal technical apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Continuing education or vocational training preferred. LME Electrician License preferred. Training in CPR and/or First-Aid is desired. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to read drawings and blueprints. Hands-On experience with one or more of the following systems: HVAC, Ultrapure Water, Gas Distribution, Chemical Distribution, Waste Treatment, electrical, Life Safety Systems. Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools. Able to move and lift up to 50LB. Basic knowledge of handling chemicals and the ability to understand SDS. Experience with a computer-based software and building control systems preferred. Communicate effectively both orally and writing. Maintain detailed and accurate reports. Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors. Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
