Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record. Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect. Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations. Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized. Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired. Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service. Report back orders or discrepancies. Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed. Perform other responsibilities as directed. Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Fabricates and assembles aerospace plastic products, applying knowledge of working characteristics of plastics and bonding techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications. Inspect, part mark, and prepare products for shipping. Position Description The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for recording data pertaining to receiving, storing, and shipping of grain at grain elevators. The Warehouse Operator will work with the other members of the team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Operate production equipment; open and close slide gates to start stop flow of grain. Accurate weighing grain and record in computer system print and sign scale tickets for all unloaded and loaded out grain by truck or rail. Responsible for accurately taking samples of all unloaded and loaded grain. Responsible for keeping charts indicating location and contents of storage tanks and bins. Complete and accurately monitor grades by weighing grain samples and recording results. Operate production equipment; start conveyors, bucket elevators select flow pipes, and selects storage tanks to convey grain into storage or for load out. Prepare rail car for loading; open/close rail car lids using anti-fall harness (safely exit the rail car height: 15-20 feet). Operate a forklift. Maintain all equipment including repair, periodic maintenance, and service. Including documenting in web-based maintenance program. General housekeeping and upkeep of working area to include; sweeping, shoveling, vacuum, compressed air, and sanitation. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed. Other duties assigned Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent experience. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred not required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Basic knowledge of working with a computer and mechanical skills. Good work ethic (team environment, both safe and quality), efficient and willingness to perform all required work with good attendance.
