What You'll Do As part of MVA's commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Education and Development Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for mentoring, training, and developing our Emergency and ICU staff through one-on-one coaching, hands-on instruction, and oversight of educational progress. This role is key in fostering the professional growth and clinical competency of our veterinary assistants and technicians. Authority to make daily decisions to best serve the needs of the business, within budget. Oversee contractors and vendors to resolve repair and maintenance issues at Sage Dental facilities. Respond promptly and follow up consistently to support overall success and workflow efficiency. Vendor and supplier selection, relationship management, and assessment of cost, level of service availability, to efficiently serve the needs of the business. Independently manage small capex remodels, minor remodel work, painting jobs and other miscellaneous improvements. Qualify the scope, means, methods, schedule, etc. to ensure the needs of the business are met and with a proper plan to implement the facilities plan of Sage Dental locations. Ownership of repairs or maintenance of the support center (corporate office). Manage, or take ownership of support center corporate services for facilities and replenishment vendors. Evaluate and monitor contractors, vendors, and suppliers and ensure they are performing up to Sage's standards. The ICU RN's are required to have a wide array of knowledge, skill and ability to competently and safely provide critical care to our patients. Frequent ongoing education, new skill acquisition and skill validation are provided and supported by an experienced ICU CNS for new and experienced ICU nurses. Newly hired RN's will have between 2-14 weeks of orientation depending on prior experience. Our preceptors are purposely selected for their teaching ability and formally trained to meet the training needs of new staff. Specific attention is provided for new graduate ICU RN's as they participate in our Vizient AACN Nurse Residency Program and AACN's essentials of Critical Care Orientation online education. Experienced RN's are encouraged and supported with educational and financial assistance to achieve critical care certification. Reporting Relationship Insurance Manager Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for insurance verification and/or authorization on patients. Responsible for audit of information from the Intake Referral Form and patient information received from the referral source entered into the computer system correctly. This includes but is not limited to: demographics, insurance, physician, nursing agency, diagnosis, height, weight, and allergies (when information is available and as applicable). Re-verification of verification and/or authorization and demographics on all patients. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express technical issues in “layman” terms. Fluency in a second language is a plus. Must be friendly professional and cooperative with a good aptitude for customer service and problem solving. Education and/or Experience: Must have a High School diploma or Graduation Equivalent Diploma (G.E.D.) Prior experience in a pharmacy or home health company is preferred.
