Senior Project Manager of Construction's Role:
As a member of the company's Construction team, the Construction Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned capital construction projects. This includes permitting, vendor procurement, contracting, and construction management, as well as managing document control, invoice processing, change management, commissioning, and project closeout. Data Center Technician IV Role:
The Data Center Technician IV must possess an expert level of knowledge and will be responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the data center electrical, mechanical, fire life safety systems, and communications infrastructure.
We are currently hiring for the Swing Shift 2:00pm-10:00pm Tuesday-Saturday.

+ Manage concurrent multi-phased interior and exterior start-up and upgrade projects (e.g. office) on several campuses to achieve schedule, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion
+ Monitor & create project budget / cost-to-date against overall project budget

Your role
The Site Engineer III position is a contributing member to the site level Data Center Operations team assigned to one or more of our data center properties reporting directly to the Manager Engineering Operations. The Site Engineer III will have experience in mission critical infrastructure, including Generators, UPS Systems, HVAC Systems, Fire/Life Safety Systems, BMS Systems, and CMMS systems. It is expected that the Site Engineer III candidate has expertise in either electrical work or mechanical work and it would be expected that he/she would be competent in the area of non expertise. The responsibilities of the Engineer-III are: to contribute to the daily site operation, including creation and modification of site operating procedures, contribute to creation of change management tickets, creation of timely incident reporting, site maintenance and repairs/inspections to help ensure Digital Realty's data center operations achieve the highest level of availability.

Gain a complete understanding of all aspects of data center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data center operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.
Supervision of construction activity and installations as required.
Ability to be the executor in the site specific change management processes including the creation of Method of Procedures (MOPs) for low risk preventative maintenance and repairs as well as the oversight of those maintenances as they are carried out.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot site mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to respond to unplanned events without immediate supervision.
Ability to efficiently complete rounds/inspections and to detect anomalies during those rounds.
Develop or improve SOPs for site specific equipment.
Gain a good understanding and knowledge of the local customers business and datacenter operation.

What you'll do
As a Property Assistant you will provide diverse support to a team that includes Real Estate Managers, Assistant Real Estate Managers and others. The role is essentially a combination of administrative support and bookkeeping. Your specific activities will include:
Supporting the planning, budgeting, and control of operating and capital expenditures.
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and variance reports.

What you'll need
While the ideal candidate will have two to three years of similar experience, we also will consider recent college grads as long as they are motivated and have the ability to learn quickly with a professional demeanor. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
At least three years of related administrative / office experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
A proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (you will need to visit various properties from time to time).

The Operations Service Center Facilities Support Engineer I (FSE) will be primarily responsible for all facilities' major incident management, monitoring a dashboard for EMPS/BMS alarms, hands-off remote troubleshooting support, change control, procedural compliance and review, and assisting with facilities program and application data integrity. Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by management as needed.
The Operations Service Center is a 7 x 24 x 365 organization, which means the position requires shift work. The OSC staffs for business needs, therefore, your shift could change. This will be a rotating position between days and nights - 12 hours shifts: starting 3 months on days to train then 3 months to nights; then rotation will start.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.
Able to run, coordinate a Major Incident bridge, create an incident review report (IRR).
Answer phones to respond to facility requests.
Provide technical support to troubleshoot facility issue.
Respond to alarms and take appropriate action to correct the problem or escalate based on the Facilities Operations Service Center policy.
Able to correlate changes that are causing alarms.
Provide resolution or escalation for incidents as required by QTS Service Level Agreements.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and provide detailed notes when escalation is required.
Thorough understanding of QTS products and services with in-depth knowledge of service now and Nuvolo.
Identifies opportunities for value-added process improvement.
Awareness of when to send customer communication based on impact on the customer.
Identify patterns that could potentially lead to issues and escalate or resolve them as needed.
Accountable for the status of created tickets, follow-through, resolution, and closure.
Follow-up with inquiries not immediately resolved.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
AAS or BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Two or more years of experience in a data center or other critical environment.
One or more years of experience with CMMS, ticketing, and monitoring platforms, such as ScienceLogic, ServiceNow, or similar applications
One or more years of experience with monitoring systems such as BMS and EPMS
Knowledgeable in the use of Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable with or willing to learn the required software applications
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

About the role
As Commissioning Manager you'll oversee the planning and execution of commissioning activities across data center projects in the Americas region.
