Key Responsibilities:
Radiopharmaceutical Administration:
Prepare and administer radioactive substances (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, ensuring correct dosage and safe handling.
Monitor patients during the administration process, checking for any immediate adverse reactions or complications.
Ensure the proper disposal of radioactive materials in accordance with safety protocols.
Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures:
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras, positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanners.
