Cornerstone Insurance Group has roots in St Louis dating back to 1971.
In January 1997, Dale R. Yoder, AIA, was named President.
Cornerstone Associates, Inc. was formed in 2001 from the merger of two non-profits, Bonney Enterprises and Open Door Inc. which had a combined total of over 70 years in operation.
In May 2007, a new chapter was started as Cornerstone Design-Architects underwent an ownership restructuring, with a goal of providing even more dedicated levels of client commitment.
In November 2007, the firm moved its corporate offices to downtown Lancaster, PA.
Cornerstone wins the 2012 Healthiest Employer Awards, hosted by the St Louis Business Journal.
Also in 2014, Cornerstone is named a Top Company in St Louis by Small Business Monthly.
