Corporate administrative assistants make an average of $17.03 an hour, which is $35, 423 a year. At entry-level, prospective corporate administrative assistants are required to have at least a GED or diploma certificate. Prospective corporate administrative assistants need experience in roles such as office and administrative assistants or customer service representatives. They should hone skills in Microsoft PowerPoint presentation preparation, the ability to respond to phone calls and emails professionally, the ability to prepare and update expense report on time and accurately, and the ability to complete special projects assigned by the management.
The primary role of corporate administrative assistants is to manage an office's daily tasks, like taking phone calls and filling documents. Other duties include preparing reports, maintaining the filling systems, ordering and stocking office supplies, and making meeting and travel arrangements.
