Top of Form JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant Job Overview The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of rooms. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. Housekeeping associates play an important role for their home-away-from home experience for each of our guests every day. Responsibilities: · Acknowledges and greets guests in public areas with a warm and friendly greeting. · Review daily inventory of arrivals and departures to the property. · Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day. · Responsible for dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens for rooms assigned. · Responsible for cleaning bathrooms, beds, picture fames, furniture and common areas. · Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time frames. · Comply with all resort safety guidelines. · Pick up ground litter around hotel or anything visible. · May perform other duties requested by supervisor. Worth Responsible for the daily detailed cleaning of hotels and/or restaurants, removing debris and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles and replace lining of trash cans. Responsibilities: · Sweep and mop floors. · Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning kitchens. · Perform such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. · Steam-clean carpets. · Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. · Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, kitchen, public areas etc. · Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. · Apply wax to coat floors and buff. · Apply sealant to floors. · Clean service restrooms with mops and disinfectants. · Move heavy equipment and furniture. · Identify and report possible repairs. · May perform other duties requested by supervisor.
