What Does A Corporate Operations Compliance Manager Do At Ryder System

* Develop policies, training, benchmarking and trend analysis related to internal investigations, conflicts of interest, data privacy, export controls, government contracting, antitrust, bribery and corruption (FCPA), and other regulatory matters
* Conduct investigations into business ethics matters, as necessary
* Support our businesses in executing their strategies by taking a proactive, problem-solving approach that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance with the law
* Field questions and requests for support regarding the Compliance and Ethics Programs
* Conduct compliance audits, analyze results and generate reports and potential policy recommendations to appropriate departments
* Develop metrics, dashboards and reports related to the seven elements of an effective compliance and ethics program
* Evaluate acquisitions and joint ventures to meet compliance due diligence requirements
* Conduct risk assessments
* Prepare reports for operations, executive team and Board of Directors
* Manage projects and drive to successful completion
* Manage direct reports
* Performs other duties as assigned

What Does A Corporate Operations Compliance Manager Do At Exelon Corporation

* Acts as primary point of contact for matters outside of routine activities, including but not limited to, operational issues, change management, and ad hoc projects and requests
* Ensure department compliance with internal requirements and external regulations
* Execute operational aspects of investment strategy for all trusts managed by the Investment Office
* Supervise, coach, and develop Investments Analyst
* Act as liaison between external third parties and other Exelon departments
* Prepare reports and make presentations to the Senior Vice President and Corporate Investment Committee.
* Qualifications
* POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
* Minimum 8 years of experience with background in compliance, accounting or operations
* Progress toward CFA or MBA preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills to interface with business unit, business service company and to manage various third party relationships
* Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large amounts of data from various source
* Comprehensive knowledge of investment, accounting, economic dynamics and performance measurement
* Willing to respectfully challenge others; comfortable staking out and defending unpopular positions
* Highly organized.
* Systems / database experience a plus
