Corporate security manager job description

Key Role:

Coordinate the steady-state planning process through facilitating the ally and partner assessment methodology to inform partner prioritization. Leverage your expertise to inform country Blueprint development and recommend strategically aligned Security Cooperation (SC) activities for key allies and partners. Help synchronize the SC community through supporting the management of the Security Cooperation Activity Management Group. Request agenda topics from all activity managers, build agenda, secure guest briefers, secure live and virtual meeting space, and prepare leadership to facilitate meetings. Support the development and implementation of a marketing and outreach plan to inform, align, and support SC enterprise stakeholders about various products, offerings, and functions. Provide recommendations for the development and implementation of DoD's official Security Cooperation activity management database through weekly meetings, and review and analysis of documents. Advise our clients, and identify, analyze, and evaluate complex security cooperation policies, processes, and programs.

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in USAF Planning, USAF Requirements Development, SC Planning, or SC Activity Management
* Knowledge of DAF roles and missions
* Knowledge of SAF and IA's role within and relationship towards the security cooperation community
* Knowledge of Air Force Corporate structure
* Knowledge of security cooperation, international affairs, and USAF roles and missions
* Ability to perform CONUS and OCONUS travel up to 25% percent of the time
* Secret clearance
* Master's degree in International Affairs

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite applications in day-to-day researching, writing, coordination, and revision of communications materials, including briefings and talking points
* Ability to interface with other key stakeholders on issues for allies and partners, international engagements, and strategic development
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer and Flag Officer

Our Corporate Security team is responsible for partnering with IT and building world-class enterprise security to help secure Atlassian data and systems. We're looking for a Corporate Security Manager, reporting to the Head of Corporate Security to lead our APAC-based remote team. You'll have the opportunity to improve security for every Atlassian and make impactful changes to the way we work.

You'll bring your experience to grow and lead a team of corporate security engineers to build out protections on enterprise endpoint systems (all three, but heavy on Apple), secure corporate network infrastructure, partner with IT to address enterprise risk, and engineering software to help secure our Atlassian TEAM.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:Experience building and leading security teams Strong stakeholder management skills Experience with security program development and uplift Experience in infrastructure security with an emphasis on endpoint security, network security, and/or supply chain risk management.Affinity for growing teams and helping people succeed
Experience in the following is preferred:Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python and/or Go) Experience with CI/CD and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP and others.Experience with a variety of SaaS tools (Salesforce, Workday, Coupa etc) Experience in a large scale cloud environment, ideally IT system administration skills, specifically with AD, SSO, GSuiteExperience with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), with an emphasis on vendor security assessments Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc

About Corporate Security

Cognizant Corporate Security, a key organization within Cognizant Technology Solutions, is chartered with managing and directing the global enterprise physical and logical security programs. The Corporate Security organization is responsible for the oversight and coordination of security efforts across the company, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management and various other groups, and is responsible for identifying security initiatives and standards. Corporate Security drives security compliance and serves as the key organization responsible with helping the business appropriately manage security risks. Business Information Security, which is part of Corporate Security, is responsible for supporting the Cognizant Delivery Organization with project and account Governance and Oversight.

Position Description

Business Information Security (BIS) are growing the Technical Information Security team and require a number of Senior Security Professionals to assist the Technical Information Security Officers (TISOs) and BIS team members with the execution of Technical Security tasks. This role will work within the Cognizant Corporate Security framework to support BIS and Customer teams within the assigned region or where necessary across global regions.

The successful candidate will have a track record of working in a heavily matrixed environment, delivering security solutions for enterprise and/or public sector clients within a consulting or professional services practice.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Candidate will

• Collaborate with other teams and support the review of security design architecture documentation as part of pre and post sales project activities to ensure solution is secure.
• Support the BIS Representatives with Proposal/Deal Risk Reviews from a Technical Security perspective.
• Support the BIS and Internal Security Investigation team with Incident investigation activities
• Lead Security controls in Design of solutions and platforms
• Lead security architecture review of existing soltuions, services and platforms to ensure security adequate
• Collaborate closely with IT architects, designers, engineers, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that security has been designed into the solution with the appropriate tooling and controls factored in.
• Work cross organization on global projects that relate to or could impact business delivery or effectiveness to ensure business needs are clearly articulated and considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Security Architecture experience required
• Should have a mix of security consulting, and professional services experience
• Should be well versed in security policies & standards, governance, compliance, risk management and security audit practices
• Experience with using common information security management frameworks, such as GDPR, ISO 27000 Series, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), the ISF Standards of Good Practice (SoGP) and ISACA's Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) frameworks.
• Proven expertise and experience in one or more of the following domains:
  • Information assurance & cyber security;
  • Data protection;
  • Business continuity;
  • IT service continuity;
  • Information risk management;
  • Compliance management.
  • Security Assessments
• Should possess expertise in one or more of the following technical disciplines:
  • Cyber security (threat management & vulnerability management);
  • Identity & access management;
  • Security operations;
  • Cloud security;
  • Data center security services;

Educational & Certification Requirements

• Demonstrable professional experience in multiple security domains;
• Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CCSP.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate possesses:

• The ability to work successfully in a collaborative, highly matrixed environment;
• Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences, including customers, partners, sales, and through social media;
• Apart from English, skills in other languages would be an advantage;
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel;
• Ability to effectively write and communicate complex issues in an understandable manner to audiences of mixed technical literacy;
• Ability to share information with awareness of its effect on others;
• Ability to demonstrate a balance of speaking and listening so that neither is overly dominant;
• Ability to tailor written communications to audience, avoiding technical jargon;
