As a Travel Advisor III - Corporate Travel Advisor, your primary responsibilities include:

* Arranging all elements of business travel from initial request to completion for corporate account clients

* Providing best-in-class customer service that exceeds clients' expectations

* Projecting a positive attitude with high energy, diplomacy, and creativity in work strategies

* Facilitating client support with a high degree of initiative, confidentiality, and professional demeanor

* Developing relationships with clients to improve their overall service level

Requirements: Skills & Attributes

* At least 5 years of experience arranging travel for C-suite and professional service clientele is required

* At least 3 years of recent experience as a Corporate Travel Consultant/Agent or 3 years within an equivalent position is required

* At least 3 years of full functional use with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre or Apollo is required

* Ability to use GDS to execute seat assignments and upgrades, and create and send itineraries, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, queue sorting, MCOs, Amtrak tickets, and Phase IVs is required

* Extensive expertise of domestic and international airports and cities, as well as their inherent logistics as it relates to business/corporate travel is required

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

* Excellent recordkeeping skills is preferred

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment under stringent deadlines

* Strong sense of urgency as well as ability to adapt to change as needed

* High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Description

The Corporate International Travel Consultant is responsible for all aspects of travel management for our corporate clients. This includes conversing with customers through multiple communication mediums to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial consideration and accommodations required. The consultant will also be responsible for booking and issuing domestic and international airline itineraries, hotel reservations and car and train reservations through a GDS system. This is a virtual position.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Answer calls and emails promptly from clients who are requesting new travel arrangements or changes to existing itineraries and provide prompt customer service.

• Book and issue airline, hotel, car and other tour reservations through Sabre GDS system, accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay.

• Check queue's daily to ensure accuracy and that all issued tickets are complete.

• Maintain service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, Waiver/ Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.

• Communicate effectively with other agents or team members to solve problems and gather information.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Provide travel expertise to clients.

• Follow ADTRAV approved workflow.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Sabre GDS System.

• Proficient with city, airline, hotel and car rental codes.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service, internally and externally.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to demonstrate professional conduct at all times.

• Excellent computer and typing skills, which includes the ability to navigate between programs quickly by using shortcut keys.

• Ability to identify a problem and see it through to resolution with minimal supervision.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Travel Agent Certification preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a booking agent

Physical Requirements:

This position is sedentary in nature, which requires very little to no lifting, pushing and pulling. The primary functions of this position include but are not limited to the ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time. The ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time without leaving the work area is required.
