If indicated, immediately notifies floor nurses of the need for physical intervention (such as toileting assistance assisting resident to lie back in bed, moving an item closer, etc.) Identify safety risks and communicate the need to escalate assistance to the residents. Function cooperatively as a team member, responding directive by responsible nurse to changing resident's/unit's needs. Communicate in a professional manner and demonstrate respect for the residents, families/significant other and other health care members. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare is preferred. Compliance Liaison Duties * Act as Compliance Liaison for facility * Assist, when requested, in the: * Annual Compliance risk assessment process by reminding stakeholders to complete the annual survey; * Completion of annual Compliance education by reminding stakeholders of the due date; * Periodic distribution of the code of conduct and compliance policies; * Monthly distribution of Compliance Newsletter and Compliance Tips to stakeholders; * Compliance investigations, by escalating allegations of violations of the Code of Conduct or policies to the compliance office; * Function as a communication channel to and from the compliance office and assist compliance officer with addressing compliance questions.
