Responsibilities:
What You Will Be Doing
Interact with guests providing directions and assistance
Protect employees, guests, and company property
Enforce park policies
Control park access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors
Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the park
Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
Greet and screen entering through metal detection and check their bags for prohibited items
Rapidly respond to active alarms, first aid, and other emergency situations
Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism
Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process
Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security records
Apprehend violators, including on-foot pursuits when necessary
Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection

Must have a current, valid, Security License or have completed the finger-imaging, certification and application criteria and have met all New York State requirements prior to starting work.
Successful completion of all required Security Guard training as defined by the New York State Division of Licensing Services. After hire, applicants must continue to meet current licensing requirements to maintain a security guard license as defined by the New York State Division of Licensing Services

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.

* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.

Position Purpose:
This position serves as the primary NICB contact with member companies and law enforcement agencies providing advice on preventing and combating insurance related crime and fraud in their designated geographical areas. Special Agents are responsible for initiating and conducting investigations which result in the dismantlement of organized groups/rings, arrests of those involved, loss mitigations, restitution, and reduction of insurance fraud. The position functions as the investigative arm of the NICB, working in cooperation with member companies, law enforcement and other associated agencies to combat insurance related crime.
Work Arrangement and Description:
This is a field position which means that the individual is assigned to an Area of Responsibility (AOR) and must travel within that AOR in order to fulfill their job responsibilities.
Competencies/Duties:
* Conducts timely and thorough, multi-claim, multi-carrier criminal investigations.
* Collects, analyzes, and calculates relevant data for use in investigations.
* Properly documents all phases of investigative activity.
* Prepares summary investigative presentations for submission to law enforcement/prosecutor.
* Represents NICB in criminal court as requested, often testifying as an expert witness.
* Serves as liaison with member companies, law enforcement and government agencies to promote and provide the full range of NICB services.
* Functions as a "technical" expert in fraud investigations and identifying insurance fraud schemes/claim file review.
* Maintains membership in appropriate professional organizations.
* Works well with others in a Task Force environment / a team player.
* Establishes and maintains business relationships with member companies, law enforcement, regulatory agencies and vendors.
* Provides comprehensive training to member companies and law enforcement on related insurance crime matters.
* Identifies potential new member customers.

A& Associates is looking for a Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Surveillance - Patrol the grounds or buildings as assigned, regularly. If suspicious activity is detected, refer to the local authorities. Review surveillance cameras and monitor crowds as needed. Establish and review the identification required to enter the building or property. Verify all doors, windows and gates are secure on the property on a rotating schedule. Escort released employees off the property as well as any other trespassers.
Investigation - Respond to any alerts of suspicious activity. If a person is under suspicion of criminal activity, secure the environment and person, and report to the local authorities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Security guard training certification preferred
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary
