Experience/Qualifications Needed:
3-6+ years legal experience (law firm or in-house) (must have prior litigation experience)

Responsibilities:
Asset Management
Manage all legal due diligence memorandum for DM Legal Assets
Monitor underlying litigation for current assets and summarize developments for internal consumption (Special Sits team and Gramercy IC) and investor updates
Dayto-day borrower management (legal related), following up on outstanding requests related to status of legal assets, upcoming court deadlines, recent case law
Monitor and update legal analysis for models related to current assets
Assist team in building out covenant matrices for postclosing covenants related to underlying cases, insurance etc. and assist team in monitoring legal-related post-closing covenants
Insurance reporting (legal), including providing legal updates needed for periodic insurance reporting; maintaining backup to comply with policy reporting requirements
Legal work related to select assets, including analysis and management of underlying case(s) for select assets.
Additional Assets - Legal Analysis / Due Diligence
Assistance with preliminary legal due diligence for potential new Legal Assets, including legal due diligence related to potential value of collateral, legal risks, duration, etc.
Preliminary review of legal diligence provided by Borrowers; identify risks/items for review
Assist with development of preliminary legal analysis for models related to potential new assets, potential value of collateral, legal risks, duration analysis, etc.
Develop and update due diligence trackers for live deals
Preliminary drafting of IC/other memos focused on legal asset and risks
Assist team with deal execution, including review of specific sections of deal documents in relation to current status of underlying litigation and due diligence
Assist team with creation of diligence budget tracking for live deals
