Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required
Possess a current valid driver's license
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
Be at least age 21 at the time of application and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Works directly with business units and support management as a consultant in the development of business unit's risk self-assessment programs.

Analyzes and evaluates compliance risks and recommends changes to policies, procedures, and processes to reasonably ensure risk-based and appropriate controls are instigated and maintained.
Assists in the development of new and/or updates policy and procedures related to BSA, AML, OFAC and the USA PATRIOT Act Bank wide. Also, partners with business units for the development of departmental policy and procedures.
Partners with business units to remediate BSA, AML, OFAC and the USA PATRIOT Act compliance findings identified in risk assessments, internal audits and/or regulatory examinations.
Performs daily activities of assigned functional area; prioritizing; completing multiple activities; resolves problems as they arise.
Ensures activities are in compliance with legal/regulatory requirements and CNB policy and procedure.
Communicates and escalates (as assigned) identified BSA, AML, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act operational concerns to the appropriate level of management.
Maintains an up-to-date Master Compliance Audit Follow-up Log for outstanding BSA-related Audit and OCC Examination issues, and the BSA Risk Assessments Open Issues Log.
Integrates activities with other departments to accomplish common goals.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Bank policies, procedures and industry best practices.
Participates in and completes bank-wide projects.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Minimum 3 years experience in a BSA specific role at a financial institution
Current Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Certification
Additional Qualifications
Working knowledge of banking operations, government regulations, accounting principles and account reconcilement.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access required.
Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act required.
BSA Testing or audit experience preferred. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required.
Excellent verbal/written and written communication skills required to interact with all levels of Bank personnel and outside contacts.
Tableau experience is preferred.
Experience with AML Monitoring Systems such as Actimize is preferred.

Prepares for the transportation of inmates by applying restraint equipment and inspecting vehicles for safety. Escorts inmates throughout the facility. Processes inmates for release. Oversees and controls jail movement from a central control room. Testifies in court. May be assigned to transport inmates outside of jail facility if assigned to the Jail Transport Unit. Performs related functions as required.

Candidates will be required to attend and successfully complete an eight-week CorrectionalOfficer training academy within the one-year probationary period.
Applications, as well as responses to the supplemental questionnaire, will be reviewed by the Human Resources Department and Police Department. A Personal History Statement and Background Investigative Questionnaire, completed by candidates prior to the end of the selection process, will also be reviewed by the Police Department. 2. PHYSICAL AGILITY EXAMINATION: (Qualifying) will evaluate each applicant's physical strength, agility and endurance in the following timed components:
* 1.5 MILE RUN : The 1.5 mile run must be completed within 14 minutes to pass the City of Santa Ana physical agility test.
* 50 YARD SPRINT: Sprint on a straight track within 30 seconds.
* OBSTACLE COURSE: Complete the following: Start 15 yards back from the beginning of flight of stairs or bleacher steps, walk or jog the 15 yards, climb up 10 steps, return down the stairs and jog or run back to the original starting point within 30 seconds.
* BODY DRAG: Lift and drag 165-pound lifelike dummy 20 feet within 20 seconds.
Each of the above events are timed. Candidates must successfully complete all four events to pass the physical agility test.

New Police Officers then complete an additional 19 weeks of field training with an assigned Field Training Officer. After the completion of the field training program, officers are prepared to work alone in the field.
Online Exam:
As part of the selection process, applicants will be required to participate in an online written exam in order to qualify for the Physical Agility Test. Online exam waivers are available to those who qualify.

Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required
Possess a current valid driver's license
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
Be at least age 21 at the time of application and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. A Sheriff's Correctional Deputy Cadet enters training to join the ranks of Sheriff's Correctional Deputies who, under supervision, maintain order and security of inmates within a detention facility, transport from the correctional facilities to and from court, medical facilities, and other locations within and outside the County, supervise a crew of inmates in work projects throughout the County, and assist in the correction of antisocial attitudes and behavior. After passing the exam and screening processes, candidates are eligible to be hired as a Sheriff's Correctional Deputy and attend an Adult Correctional Academy training program as trainee.
Agility Examination: Prior to appointment as a cadet, each candidate must pass an agility test as part of the examination process. The agility test consists of three timed events: 99-yard obstacle course, drag a 165-lb bag for 32 feet, and a 500-yard run.
When hired, Sheriff's Correctional Deputy Cadets enter a 13-week Adult Correctional Academy training program. Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance programs. Your status as trainee pursuant to the Fair Labor Standard Act does not entitle you to overtime or holiday pay while attending the Academy.
After Academy graduation, Cadets are eligible to be sworn in as a regular Sheriff's Correctional Deputy at the start of the following pay period, and be considered probationary employees of the Sheriff's Office.
A 5% salary increase is given for satisfactory job performance six months after appointment as a Sheriff's Correctional Deputy at Step 1.
Newly appointed Sheriff's Correctional Deputies must successfully complete an 18-month probationary period during which they will be required to complete a training program under the supervision of a training officer. The County supplies all safety equipment, as provided by law.
Advanced in-service training is available at the department level and in cooperation with local schools, state and national agencies. Regular County policy on tuition reimbursement applies to Sheriff's Correctional Deputies.
Upon graduation from the Adult Correctional Academy, it is a condition of employment that newly appointed Sheriff's Correctional Deputies must sign a payroll deduction authorization form providing for deduction of union membership dues or an equivalent service fee. A thirty (30) calendar day cancellation period is provided.
