    Agent Responsibilities: A Residential Security Agent is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of a private residence, its occupants, and its property. Their primary role is to mitigate risks, prevent security breaches, and respond to incidents effectively. Key Responsibilities: Perimeter & Access Control: Monitor and secure entry points to prevent unauthorized access. Verify visitors, deliveries, and service personnel before granting access. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including external and internal areas. Threat Assessment & Risk Mitigation: Identify potential security threats and implement preventive measures. Maintain situational awareness and adapt security protocols as needed. Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Respond swiftly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies. Provide first aid or assist in emergency evacuations when necessary. Develop and execute emergency response plans for various scenarios. Surveillance & Monitoring: Operate security cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity. Document and report incidents or irregularities. Maintain secure communication with security teams and residents. Protective Services & Personal Safety: Ensure the safety of residents, guests, and staff within the property. Escort residents safely to and from locations when required. Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times. Operational & Administrative Duties: Keep detailed logs of security activities and incidents. Conduct routine security assessments and recommend improvements. A Residential Security Agent must possess strong situational awareness, excellent judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. They should also be trained in defensive tactics, emergency response, and security technology to provide comprehensive protection. Minimum Qualifications: Experience, Skills, and Certifications: • 3-5+ years of relevant security experience and/or military/ law enforcement experience • Experience working with and safeguarding confidential information • Demonstrated track record of success working in a very fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to respond and handle emergency situations • Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently • Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps • Must have a California BSIS guard card • Must have a California BSIS firearms permit or be able to obtain one within 6 months of employment · CCW is preferred but not required. • Must have CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or obtain within a reasonable period • Able and willing to follow the dress and grooming policy. • Must have a valid and unrestricted driver's license with a safe driving record • Excellent communicator with the ability to professionally and appropriately converse with all individuals encountered • Drug free; must pass a drug screening and submit to periodic screenings throughout employment • Must pass an extensive background check and an in-house training assessment; specific training will be provided upon hire
