Correctional Services Corporation, LLC develops and operates correctional and detention facilities for adult offenders. The company also offers design and construction services for juvenile and adult correctional facilities, as well as the redesign and renovation of existing facilities. It operates through two divisions, Adult Community Corrections (ACC) and Juvenile. The ACC division operates residential correctional and detention facilities serving substance abuse offenders; parole violators; pretrial detainees; aliens pending deportation; federal detainees and inmates awaiting permanent commitments or court appearances; sex offenders; and inmates transitioning from incarceration to community living. It provides adult inmates with housing; health care and food service; and transportation services for governmental agencies, and remote post security and supervision for inmates and detainees making court appearances and require hospitalization or off-site medical care. The division also provides rehabilitative and educational services including substance abuse counseling, community service, and recreational programs. Its community corrections facilities include non-secure residential facilities for adult male and female offenders transitioning from institutional to independent living. The Juvenile division operates secure and non-secure facilities for low, medium, and high risk youths in highly structured programs. In addition, it provides nonresidential aftercare programs. The company was formerly known as Esmor Correctional Services, Inc. and changed its name to Correctional Services Corporation, LLC in September 1996.
