Corrpro began acquiring companies in 1987.
The acquisitions included D. Foley Pipeline Services Limited, Corrosion Engineering and Research Company (CERCO) and, in 1988, PSG Corrosion Engineering Inc. and its subsidiary Ocean City Research Corp.
In 1994, Corrpro acquired a number of companies.
Fiscal 1997 marked a year of change for Corrpro as the company reevaluated itself and set the objective to better utilize the company's engineering strength and focus its efforts on growing the engineering, and construction portion of the business.
