Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer 8+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in specialty chemical production systems Achieve safety, health, and environmental targets (ex: Recordable Injury Rate) through the deployment of an effective Basic Safety Process (BSP) Manage operating expenses at each facility within the Operating Plan budget Achieve plant's production schedule in each facility by hiring, training, developing, and coaching the production staff and effectively balancing sub-contracted work with in-house production Understanding and proven dedication to EH&S excellence Confirmed leadership, communication and organizational change skills. Experience working with business leaders (marketing and asset management), customers, and critical suppliers.     TITLE: Flatbed DriverSALARY: Percentage or CPM (Semi-local work); CPM (Regional work) REPORTS TO: DispatchDATE OF LAST REVISION: July 27, 2022SUMMARY: Perform a variety of routine and complex tasks to safely and efficiently deliver customer goods with exceptional customer relation skills ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plan the most direct route to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment Perform required pre and post-trip inspections per company policy and refer defects or repairs to maintenance.Communicate delays, early deliveries and your intentions to dispatch as soon as possible.Keep inside of equipment clean.Ensure load securement meets Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policy.Both electronic and paper logs must be kept current and shall be completed to Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.Contact dispatch before 0800, every day with available hours.Report via macro all status changes including but not limited to: arrival time at shipper/consignee, loaded/unloaded, and on detention or any problem getting loaded or unloaded.Arrive at consignee/shipper at appointed time or before 0900.Efficient tarping/un-tarping of loads as required by the customer.Maintain a neat and reasonable appearance.Paperwork shall be completed correctly and turned in by 0900 every Monday.Perform all duties using appropriate safety standards and in conformance to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, State/Local laws, and company policies.Perform all other duties as assigned by dispatch. The requirements are subject to change by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the driver must be aware of any such changes.Dropping trailers requires upper body strength to crank the dollies down and lift the trailer out of the fifth wheel plate. Upper body strength is also required of flatbed employees when chaining, strapping, securing, and tarping loads.TRAVEL: This position requires travel 100% of the time.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:At least 21 years of age.Steady work history.Reputable Motor Vehicle Report (to pass insurance standards).Valid Class A CDL License.
