Psychiatrist - Nationwide
Remote cosmetic dentist job
Talkiatry is led clinically by Dr. Georgia Gaveras, a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with an additional board-certification in addiction medicine. At Talkiatry, that means our psychiatrists are in control of their practice. Our support staff focuses on removing administrative duties, enabling you to spend more of your time on patient care. It also means providing flexibility in where and when you practice medicine. Our psychiatrists also enjoy control over their hours and schedule.
We provide in-network, outpatient treatment for children and adults with depressive, anxiety, attention, and other disorders. Talkiatry does not provide intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs. We believe that solving the accessibility issues in mental health care begins with taking care of our doctors. We provide solutions to the challenges that psychiatrists are facing - from a lack of front and back-office infrastructure and support in private practice settings to being overworked and underpaid by hospitals, clinics, and other institutions. Talkiatry aims to bridge the current gap in outpatient psychiatry by providing high quality, respected medical care in a modern setting with modern tools.
Through proprietary technology developed by psychiatrists for psychiatrists, we empower you to treat the conditions and population you enjoy, building a practice you find both satisfying and intellectually challenging.
Talkiatry believes that psychiatric care should be affordable for patients and accepts all major insurance. As an integrated practice, we have a large in-house billing and patient care coordinator team that handles billing and administrative issues for our clinical staff.

This is a key role that will help us continue on our mission to transform the standard of dementia care.
About Us
Remo is building the new standard of dementia care. As a virtual provider, our expert clinical team designs care around patient and family needs (instead of a one-size-fits-all approach). Our care model empowers patients to age in place, surrounded by those they love. We also empower family caregivers with a vibrant community of other caregivers, expert content, and tools to manage the path ahead. With Remo, patients and caregivers get the support they deserve and providers get the job satisfaction they crave.
About the Role
As a Neurologist, you will report directly to our Medical Director and play an integral role in our ability to pursue our mission by leading the clinical team. The leader in this role will evaluate and manage a panel of follow-up patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers (dyads), other members of the clinical team, lead educational efforts, and work closely with the Medical Director on hiring and training new providers as we expand to new markets. If you believe that the current standard of dementia care is unacceptable, and you're passionate about building better care models for patients living with dementia and their caregivers, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing
Evaluate and manage a panel of patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers, with the full support of an interdisciplinary team (Pharmacist, Social Worker, Care Navigator etc.).
Identify areas of improvements in the care model and technical platform so we can continue to improve quality of care, dyad satisfaction, and the provider experience.

Collaborate with the Medical Director to provide memory care training and oversight of new hires.
Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop, implement, and maintain a curriculum of regular educational conferences for clinical providers (e.g. clinical case conferences, neuroradiology rounds, guest lecturers).
Collaborate and provide necessary oversight of the interdisciplinary team by staffing questions that arise requiring neurologic expertise.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
You're the Ideal Candidate If You Have
Behavioral neurology fellowship training or other substantial expertise in dementia or related cognitive disorders.
Licensed in OH, WA, NV, FL (Preferred).
A strong understanding of strategies to prevent cognitive decline and dementia, diagnostic approaches to dementia subtypes, interpretation of neuroimaging and neuropsychological evaluations, non-pharmacological and pharmacologic approaches to symptom management, and advanced care planning for neurodegenerative disease.
A proven track record of successfully leading clinical teams.
A passion for building and iterating on a novel care model and technical platform.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
A belief that the current state of dementia care is unacceptable and want to build a better care model for all the families who need it.
How This Is Different from Other Clinical Jobs

There is no requirement for inpatient time.
You will be working within your chosen specialty of behavioral neurology
This is a salaried position (there is no RVU target) with generous vacation, parental leave, and benefits.
Full malpractice insurance covered by Remo Health
You will have a strong voice in how we do things. Unlike the typical experience of feeling like a peg in a hospital machine, you have agency at Remo. If the EMR could be improved, we want to know. If you think a particular type of patient needs a service we are not yet providing, we want to know. Our goal is to continuously improve care delivery and you will be involved closely in that process.
You have the opportunity to do a mix of clinical work, education, and quality improvement work. The allocation can evolve over time depending on your interests.
We are passionate about removing administrative and other unfulfilling work from your plate-we want you to be able to focus on your patients and projects
