As part of the University of Arkansas System, Cossatot Community College in De Queen provides two-year educational programs leading straight to the workforce or two further study. The school's academics include more than 24 programs leading to certificates and associate's degrees. While many of these programs are professionally oriented, CCCUA De Queen also offers a liberal arts education through its Associate of Arts degree program. CCUA De Queen also supports the local industry with continuing education and workforce development. These programs include business and workforce training, apprenticeships and professional certification. As a community college, CCUA De Queen follows an open admissions policy. Most applicants are accepted, but acceptance to the college does not guarantee admission to a specific program. CCUA De Queen offers several financial aid opportunities, including state and federal grants, student loans and a work-study program. The college also funds scholarships, which are based on a variety of criteria. To be eligible for financial aid, including scholarships, you must fill out the FAFSA.
