Description: The Senior Social Media Associate is a critical part of the Homes.com marketing team's media group. We are currently seeking a Senior Social Media Associate to join our Homes.com Marketing team based in Richmond, VA. This role will own organic social media strategy, content development, and day-to-day channel execution across priority platforms to build national brand awareness and drive meaningful community engagement for Homes.com. The ideal candidate brings strong creativity, platform expertise, and storytelling ability to bring our brand voice and value proposition to life across social. Core Responsibilities: Content Creation and Strategy + Develop and create compelling content for Homes.com's social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok and YouTube. + Bring ideas to life quickly with a nimble, real-time mindset, creating reactive content that taps into cultural moments, social trends, and platform-native behaviors. + Building and fully owning strategy for organic social with oversight from the Senior Social Media Lead. + Work cross-functionally with members of the marketing (Media, Social, Product) and in-house creative team to ensure best practice is being applied to content developed for social channels. + Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual and multimedia assets. + Create content calendars and ensure timely publication of posts. + Continuously monitor, measure, and optimize content performance, and socialize results with broader marketing team + Keep current on real estate and market trends and their impact on buyers, sellers, and agents of real estate. + Stay abreast of competitive landscape and industry benchmarks to continually refine and elevate our digital media approach. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Sociology, Psychology, English, or a related field,from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university + 5+ years of proven experience in creating and publishing content to LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. + 2+ years of experience with Sprout Social or similar social media management tools. + 2+ years of experience with design, photography, video, and/or copywriting for social media. + Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of broader business goals + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be embedded directly on a team of Research Consultants Assist in resolving errors and quality control Research various sale comps Calling on brokers, owners, and developers for updates among others Provide our Senior Leadership a presentation outlining your experience and what you learned during your time at CoStar Contribute to the growth of an accurate and complete database of commercial real estate inventory Investigate new space listings, recent sale and lease transactions, while building ownership and construction information in a market Monitor client usage and engage clients to use CoStar products in new and effective ways Partner closely with CoStar sales organization to effectively on-board and resolve client inquiries Conduct product trainings for clients on new and existing product features to expand user adoption Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients Partner with our clients to help them position their properties on all of CoStar websites Dissect trends and collaborate with regional-based teams to qualify data that will help tell the story of an entire market Provide exceptional service to all clients with a heavy emphasis on personal attention BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a rising Senior student actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a December 2026 or May 2027 expected graduation date. Evidence of strong academic performance in college with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Microsoft Excel 2016 experience required. Flexibility to work shifts aligned with ET, CT, MT, and PT time zones. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferably pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business Analytics, Property Management, Data Analytics or related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates a strong attention to detail Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems that may arise Time & Project Management Understanding of business processes and basic real estate principles Natural curiosity, persistence, and ability to conduct thorough investigative research Be goal-oriented and manage multiple responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment Customer focused approach to tasks, including a drive towards building effective client partnerships Ability to work within a team environment as well as an individual contributor Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience within the commercial real estate industry Capability to accurately capture and enter data Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas.
