About the Job:
Pacsun's IT eCommerce team uses AI and innovative technologies to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency. As a key member of the team, the Senior eCommerce Developer contributes the architecture, development and optimization of the company's digital commerce experiences.
This role is responsible for both back‐end and front-end development on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), ensuring high‐performance, secure and accessible storefronts, with robust system integration in the eCommerce ecosystem. A day in the life, what you'll be doing:
Back‐End Development & Integration
Design, build and maintain SFCC server‐side components, including controllers, pipelines, cartridges and custom business logic.
Develop and manage robust APIs that connect SFCC with tax engines, payment processors, fraud management services and the order management system.
Ensure reliable data synchronization between SFCC and external platforms such as CRM, Loyalty, OMS, ERP and analytics systems.
Optimize database models, caching strategies and performance tuning to support high transaction volumes and peak traffic periods.
Checkout & Transaction Optimization
Own the end‐to‐end checkout experience, ensuring seamless, secure and performant workflows from cart to order confirmation.

Collaborate with UX and product teams to identify friction points in the checkout process and implement improvements that boost conversion and customer satisfaction.
Tax, Shipping & OMS Integration

AI & Innovation Support
Partner with data science and innovation teams to embed AI‐driven personalization, recommendation and search solutions into the platform.

Prototype and implement new technologies that enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration

What it takes to Join:
8+ years of experience in web development and at least 5 years focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SFRA.
Deep knowledge of modern front‐end technologies (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, React or similar frameworks) and back‐end development (Node.js, Java or equivalent).
Hands‐on experience with SFCC OCAPI/SCAPI, cartridge development, API integrations and Business Manager configurations.
Proven track record integrating third‐party services (payments, tax, shipping, CRM, loyalty, analytics) and implementing secure, scalable solutions.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

We are seeking exceptional interns to join us in building a next-generation ML-based ad-serving platform to satisfy the various needs of our customers. As an intern, you can expect to be a full member of the team you join and will be treated as a junior engineer with the same expectations, project opportunities and responsibilities. Some examples of past intern projects are:
Adding features to our high-performance, low-latency backend servers
Enhancing our system in various aspects including but not limited to scalability, availability, and performance.
Developing novel improvements to pricing theory and/or algorithms
Designing / planning / shipping new features in collaboration with other engineers, PMs and UI Designers.
Developing internal tools to enhance developer productivity and system efficiency.
Turning unstructured logs, messages, and events into structured data that can be utilized for analytics, ML, and more.
Designing and implementing the backend data pipelines for manipulating and managing big data.
Developing APIs to deliver and / or demonstrate the results of advertising campaigns to customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able and willing to work from our Seattle, WA or Redwood City, CA office.
Must be able to work full-time (40-hours per week) for 12-weeks during the summer of 2026 (May - September).
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, or a related technical field during the internship.
Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree must be graduating and obtaining their degree by June of 2027.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in data structures and algorithms.
Strong coding and problem solving skills.
Familiar with distributed systems and/or databases.
Fluent with at least one programming language for server development like C/C++, Java, Go, Rust.

What you'll be doing: * Acquire a thorough understanding of, and comply with, Entuity's software development life cycle and its associated processes. * Work with Development Manager and Product Management to establish the requirements for new features and feature enhancements, and then translate into a specification, documenting as appropriate.
* Work with Software Architects to conceive solution(s) to meet the requirements and, where necessary, investigate the feasibility of the solution(s). Document the solutions and the results of any investigation, as appropriate.
* Produce required technical design documentation and ensure peer review.
* Implement software component(s) as per the design, in a timescale agreed with the Development Manager.
* Carry out appropriate code-level testing, and create automated test scripts / unit tests, as agreed with the Development Manager and Software Architects.
* Work with QA to create and review test plans and, at times, help to execute functional, integration and system testing.
* Participate in the resolution of issues and software bugs identified before and after release, either internally or by customers in the field.
