Just about everything. Management is horrible. There is absolutely no leadership or training 20+ year employee and it is getting worse every year. Walmart 2.0 after Sam Walton died.

I was a manager but stepped down when my spouse passed away unexpectedly. But was just a matter of time either way because the company’s changes drastically for the worst over the past few years. I had a conscious and would question things if I didn’t understand or agree with their expectations of my hard working employees. It’s all about making money and numbers which I get but I’m wasn’t willing to step over and on people to keep my position or desire to move up in company.
The benefits, yearly bonuses and time and a half on sundays which they currently just changed. Full time employees were scheduled 8hr shifts but were dropped down to no more than 6hr shifts per corporate. Just those couoke hrs cut make a huge difference on our checks. Matter of time before they do away with time and half on sundays now with new CEO. Costco culture has changed

Go back to basics and bring back Costco culture. Everything changed after Covid once they saw we could operate with less it is now expected and the new normal.

Management is bad favoritism, Open door policy is more like open door policy to retaliation, Toxic environment, discrimination young employee have more chances to succeed than older people they don't allowed to work family members on the same warehouse unless you are related to managers or people from corporate than is okay to have family working at the same store or if you are buddies with managers you have more chance to succeed
Management from other states are more professionals but Texas management at warehouses and depot is terrible. Bullying favoritism retaliation nepotism Discrimination and toxic environment

Dis-organized management. Lack of communications between all levels of management. So much for supporting staff. Members are allowed to curse and yell at staff, making them feel harassed and threatened. Not allowed to defend themselves in some cases. "Call a manager" It was just a miss understanding, don't support employees by telling member that employee was correct and following policy. Got 3 day suspension for defending myself.

My location is very diverse, both in race and sexual status. I get to learn about different cultures while at work and expanded my world.
There is several pros to working at Costco such as the benefits, including healthcare for $20 per paycheck, 401(k) company match, Stock options, and several different types of positions to go to such as IT, call center, warehouses, home offices, and regional offices
The cards for working at Costco can include rate of pay. Once you top out at around $29 There’s very limited motivation to move up in the company, A cashier with a company for five years can make $29 while was supervisor with the company for eight years will be making $30.
My favorite benefits at Costco is simply the amount of benefits Costco has to offer. Costco gives employees access to a benefits page that shows you everything costco has to offer to you for very limited cost or for free like $5 co-pay for doctors visits via 98point6 app or Costco being a good résumé builder with all the positions within one building, another perk is a free membership, at the end of the day, Costco has several things to offer an individual.
What I like best about Costco ‘s leadership team is there continued efforts to not increase prices during a struggling economy and constantly continuing to update procedures in a rapidly changing world.
I prepared for an interview at Costco by going over my real world experiences from previous employers and extracurricular activities, such as clubs or sports.
I would improve the company culture by having increased communication between the leadership team and every day employees on the front lines interacting with members.

There are many positions in the company, both in the warehouse and at corporate. Which is across the street from me.
The turn over from people being ambiguous is quite frequent at the Issaquah location, leading to inexperienced leaders.
There is often free food in the break rooms and they go a long way to make us comfortable. Like a mini store in the break room, sometime food trucks will come by for us and before open we can listen to music on speakers.
I haven’t met him personally, but I’ve seen him and he seems nice. And our GMs as well as Regional Manages are all quite friendly as well.

Opportunities are available to learn many skill sets. The jobs are physical, it is easy to get into condition. The pay is better than other retail stores. The culture is focused on cleanliness, organization and friendliness to our members.
Management struggles in communication with their employees. Often times a manager will come behind a different manager with different requests and the employee gets in trouble for not following through with the first managers request. For the amount of work required, I feel the pay could improve.
The teammates are really sharp for the most part. The satisfaction of a hard day's work, is very satisfying. Meeting our members and building relationships, also the retirement and medical benefits are nice.
