Assists in positioning and supporting patients for regional anesthesia procedures such as spinal and epidurals. Supports the Anesthesia Provider during insertion of arterial catheter lines and internal jugular catheters. Applies monitoring devices to the patient and operates all common physiological monitors (Datex, pulse oximeter, C02 monitor, BP monitors cuffs). Salary and Benefits
This is a part time, temporary, non-exempt position. The CSU Classification Step Range for this position is $19.96 - $27.96 per hour (step 1 - step 18). Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
This is a non-sworn public safety class series that performs the full range of receiving and dispatching emergency calls for the Department of Public Safety. All activities must be performed within specified legal guidelines.
Public Safety Dispatcher II: This is the journey-level classification in the Public Safety Dispatcher series. Medical Scribe Job Description
* Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
* Gain substantial knowledge in how to appropriately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions of consultants, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
* Navigate the facility computer system and electronic medical record
* Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to help guide patient care
* Review past history and test results on patients which are critical in driving medical decisions by your provider
* Adhere to medical facility's compliance requirements and ScribeAmerica's company policies and procedures
