He is responsible for Cotiviti’s finance, legal, compliance, facilities, and strategic sourcing functions. He leads large-scale transformation projects across the enterprise, expanding the adoption of Lean Six Sigma and building a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence, managing global administrative functions and managing operational and technology teams in India and Nepal that support North America businesses.

Throughout his career, Peter has had the privilege of working with health plans and healthcare providers to solve their clinical and financial challenges. Prior to joining Cotiviti, he served as Chief Financial Officer and in other executive roles at several public and privately held companies, where he managed financial, technology, data informatics, compliance, client service, process improvement, and operational teams in corporate and divisional settings during periods of rapid revenue growth. Peter spent nearly 13 years with McKesson and has since led two publicly traded healthcare companies through transformational transactions with private equity firms as well as completing several major business turnarounds.

Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and received his Certified Public Accountant certificate from the state of Illinois.

Richard Pozen

Serving as Chief Medical Officer for Cotiviti, Dr. Pozen is an expert in clinical coding and works extensively with Cotiviti’s medical directors and clients.

Dr. Pozen was a co-founder of iHealth Technologies, one of Cotiviti's original predecessors, and has extensive experience on both the payer and provider sides of healthcare. After running a private practice for 14 years, he created Cardiology Network, Inc., to provide specialty management services to healthcare payers. He subsequently held leadership positions at Vivra Specialty Partners and Magellan Specialty Health.

Dr. Pozen earned his B.A. at the University of Chicago, went to medical school at Rutgers, did his internal medicine training at Montefiore Hospital in New York, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University. Following that, he served on the cardiology faculty at the University of Miami.

I loved working with the team every day and connecting with other people. The community is very nice.

Not a thing, It was a job, once they decide you can be replaced with someone that can be paid less and worked harder ...they will do what it takes to get you fired.

Certainly not the leads or supervisors. They will look you in the eyes telling you one thing and on paper a total different thing.
