Previously, Jill served as the director of federal relations and policy advisor to the Governor of Alabama, where she worked with congressional and federal administration offices to advance the economic, education, health, and environmental priorities of the state. Prior to that, she worked at the Government Accountability Office as an analyst and at a health-focused nonprofit as the manager of public policy and a development coordinator.

Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond and a Master’s of Public Policy from Duke University.
