Administrative Support:
Our dedicated administrative staff handles all scheduling, referrals, and authorizations, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care to your clients. We also ensure ethical caseload requirements for our BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and yearly comprehensive assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, ABAS-3, caregiver interviews, behavior observations) with support from RBTs.
- Provide direct treatment as needed.
- Provide frequent supervision and direction to supervisees.
- Complete effective and prompt documentation for daily notes, assessments, individual treatment plans, and weekly progress updates.
- Participate in our mentorship network as either a mentee or mentor.
- Provide education and training for caregivers.
- Collaborate with other therapists (OT, PT, SLP, MH)
- Utilize our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to create and maintain documentation and collect and monitor data.
- Maintain an ABA caseload in our North Charlotte center.
- Work with practicum students.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Qualifications:
- Board Certification and licensure to work in North Carolina (candidates who have completed graduate coursework and fieldwork supervision requirements are encouraged to apply)
- Master's degree
- Experience working with neurodivergent populations (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) or those with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral support needs
- Supervisory experience with RBTs/technicians is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to make frequent, data-driven decisions for meaningful and personalized progress.
- Effective and professional communication skills for education and training of caregivers and supervisees.

Guidance Counselor Under the general supervision of the Director of Pupil Services, to provide students, parents, administrators, and other teaching staff with information on career and or educational opportunities; administer and interpret career assessment tools; and assist students in developing educational and occupational goals and plans.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
* Assists students in evaluating students' aptitudes and abilities through the interpretation of individual standardized test scores and other pertinent data, and works with students in developing education and occupation plans consistent with such evaluation.
* Assists students in making course and subject selections, as well as with evaluating career interests and choices.
* Assists in the scheduling of classes.
* Obtains and disseminates information regarding occupational opportunities to students and to classes studying occupations.
* Assists students with admissions, scholarship and identifying employment opportunities.
* Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff members to ascertain individual student's abilities and needs, including students with special needs, and to familiarize stakeholders with guidance services.
* Researches educational and career opportunities, and coordinates with teachers, college and university personnel, resource specialists, and business and community organizations for the purpose of providing information, and making recommendations.
* Assists with the registration and orientation students who are new to the school regarding procedures and educational opportunities.
* Assists with the school district's dropout prevention efforts.
* Serves as ready resource to students to provide counseling that will lead each student to increased personal growth, self-understanding, and maturity.
* Plans and coordinates field trips to institutions of higher learning, businesses and other organizations related to guidance responsibilities.
* Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research, and by maintaining professional relationships with members of institutions of higher learning and the business community.
* Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping and providing student information to prospective colleges and employers, as required by district procedures and applicable laws.
* Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.
* Assists in the orientation of new teachers, and provides in-service training in guidance.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Summary:
The Youth Activities Counselor is responsible for all duties related to providing child-watch services in our state-of-the-art child-watch facility, also known as “The Treehouse”. Ensures knowledge of club policies and procedures as it refers to the Youth department.
Ensures knowledge of all safety and first aid protocol procedures, and proactive in preventing accidents.
Assists in planning age-appropriate activities for children and families.
Greets children and parents by name, in a professional and friendly manner.
Communicates with parents at drop-off and pick-up regarding needs and preferences specific to their children.
Interacts with children in a friendly manner by playing games, teaching skills, etc.
Handles and properly cares for all event and child-watch center materials, with proper storage after use.
Leads and supervises play and activities during child-watch center shifts.
Assists with diaper changes, bathroom monitoring, meals, and snacks.
Recommends new ideas for toys, programs, supplies and promotions.
Completes opening and closing duties to ensure a clean and safe work area in the child-watch center.
Resolves disputes between children when necessary.
Disciplines using verbal redirection, physical removal, and time out as appropriate.
Communicates with and informs immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and reacts appropriately.
Assists with lunch/dinner service as it relates to youth activities.
Supports and works youth and family events by setting up and breaking down décor, activities, and games, supervising games and activities during the event, and assisting with post-event cleanup.
