Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes. Supporting Spectrum staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. Implementing evidence-based interventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning. Providing crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing. Collaborating closely with on-site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals. Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; making recommendations for improvement based on analysis of data. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential. The Behavior Interventionist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist families seeking support with Autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing behavioral health treatment in-home, at a support center or in a community. Role Responsibilities (Here's what it takes) Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings. Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes. Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions. Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan. Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner. Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies. Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support. Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements. Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours. Ensuring that the company's “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region. Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business. Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
