Yamhill County has multiple regular full-time positions for a Crisis Social Worker (QMHP) in Adult Behavioral Health. In this position you will be responsible for providing integrated behavioral health services using your training and experiences in evidence-based practices for adults with co-occurring mental health conditions. The clients that you will interact with may present with serious mental illness, trauma disorders, and/or moderate mental health conditions. Your duties will include intake assessments, crisis screenings in the clinic and community, effective case management and community crisis assistance in partnership with local law enforcement. In addition to working closely with an integrated behavioral health team, you will also be expected to travel to local hospitals to assist with acute care placement recommendations, diagnosis and treatment planning activities, providing treatment to your assigned clients, and maintaining accurate treatment records. This position may be filled as either an Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician or a Behavioral Health Clinician, depending on experience and credentialing. Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $6450 - $8171/month (DOE) Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $5925 - $7571/month (DOE) The Benefits: Yamhill County offers generous employee benefits: 15 paid holidays per year. 19.5 days of Flexible Earned Time (FET) accrual in the first year (based on an 8-hr day).* PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) - 100% employer funded contributions. A Mental Health and Evaluation Specialist performs professional mental health and evaluation work involving the assessment, counseling, and consultation of justice-involved individuals within Community Corrections, jail release, and transitional settings. Provides clinical assessments and consultative input to support treatment planning and continuity of care. Collaborates with probation officers, case managers, and partner staff by offering clinical perspective to support supervision activities. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the intermittent supervision of a Division Commander or designee who assigns work by defining objectives, priorities, and deadlines and receives clinical supervision from a Health and Human services Clinical Supervisor. The supervisor assists with unusual situations and provides clear objectives. The employee plans and conducts successive steps, resolves issues and variations, and applies policies and accepted practices. The supervisor reviews work for technical adequacy and compliance with standards and procedures. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Supervision is not a primary responsibility; however, this classification includes lead work.
