Follow-up on clients as needed. * Works with an ethnically diverse population from an anti-oppression framework. * Works with issues related to trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other life-threatening stressful events. * Able to provide crisis counseling as needed. * Able to effectively complete documentation in a timely manner and in EHR (e.g. Athena). * Able to work with integrated team to develop a client treatment plan. * Able to complete SAMHSA assessments (e.g. GPRA, TRAC, SPARS), PHQ-9, and Healthy Living Questionnaire (HLQ) as needed. * Able to provide education and training on mental health issues and evidenced-based practices. * Capable of balancing and taking care of oneself while meeting the demands his/her employment. * Performs counseling in Spanish or Haitian Creole, as needed (fluency required). * Create and modify documents for activities, and prepares reports as required by the program. * Support staff in assigned project-based work. * Able to work effectively as part of a team with shared goal of providing quality services to Borinquen clients. * Must communicate effectively with supervisor regarding caseloads, issues regarding supervision, and leave requests. * Must communicate effectively with team members. * Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Director of Behavioral Health and/or Program Managers. * Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor as required. REQUIREMENTS * Master's Degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, sociology, behavioral science, marriage and family therapy or related field with some counseling experience, or; * Florida licensure in one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD). Proof of licensure is required at time of application. * Bilingual (Spanish/English or Haitian-Creole/English). * Strong interpersonal skills. * Handle information with high level of confidentiality. * An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Such experience must be clearly documented for consideration.
