CLINICIAN Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility - WCS Jefferson County Responsible for providing individual therapy and supervising milieu group therapy to the youth residing at Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility utilizing the Integrated Treatment Model including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide service coordination in collaboration with the Youth Treatment Specialist team. The Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility is licensed under the Department of Health Services Chapters 50 and 34 to provide a short-term stabilization service for up to 8 youth (ages 10-17). Essential Functions: 1. Interview, assess, screen, and approve admissions of youth for services at YCSF. 2. Assist with admissions process on site, assisting families with paperwork completion and orientation of youth to the program. 3. Supervise the youth coordinator, providing weekly individual supervision, review and sign off on youth care plans and service recommendations/resources. 4. Facilitate treatment and value-added groups for the youth including but not limited to DBT skills, sex education, healthy relationships, cultural awareness, substance use, independent living and life skills for 8 youth across the gender spectrum, ages 10-17 years old. 5. Provide daily (more frequently as needed) 1:1 individual therapy session following treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches in the spirit of DBT. 6. The Stabilizer position is responsible for providing a wide array of culturally sensitive, recovery oriented, trauma sensitive, direct clinical services in conjunction with other staff within the Emergency Service Unit teams along with outside community providers. CSI will assist with the day-to-day functioning of all activities related to the Crisis Stabilization Program. Primary duties include assessing and coordinating the placements of clients, assessments, safety planning, and coordination of ORW support services, and transitional case management of persons stabilizing from a crisis. The position involves mobility throughout the community, working with police, hospitals, other JMHC programs, outside agency's and may require working irregular hours in keeping with the needs of the program. Temporary School Counselor | 2025-2026 School Year Madison Country Day School seeks an experienced, engaging, and compassionate school counselor to join our Student Services Team. Provide support for parents regarding the mental health and well-being of their children Perform crisis interventions as needed, and coordinate critical incident intervention and best practices in coordination with other area schools. Attend faculty meetings on a regular basis and parent education evenings when relevant topics present themselves. Keep Division Heads and Head of School apprised of sensitive and escalated issues, meetings, and conversations with parents, teachers, and students. The Crisis Stabilizer is responsible for providing support, crisis intervention, and stabilization to individuals in the Target Case Management (TCM) and/or Crisis Case Management (CCM) program. Through close collaboration with case management and the clinical team, they actively promote consumer wellness, assist in recovery & crisis plans, and foster community integration ensuring alignment with DHS requirements. The overall responsibility of this position will be to assist in conducting a research project aimed at understanding and treating tobacco and nicotine dependence among African American/Black adults who smoke, to reduce the physical, emotional, and financial consequences of tobacco use. This position will assist in the coordination of all research activities including: screening and enrolling participants, conducting assessments, providing smoking cessation counseling, completing follow-up calls, and mailing study materials. This position will provide training to become a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. The onsite work location for this position will be the UW-CTRI Milwaukee Research Office in Milwaukee, WI Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.- 4:30p.m. with occasional evening hours required. UW-CTRI improves lives by conducting biomedical and social science research to better understand the impacts of tobacco use and addiction and design and implement evidence-based interventions to reduce tobacco use. Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $50,000 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
