    Independently Licensed Counselor (Bilingual preferred) Dual role: School-based and Outpatient Clinic Positive Directions-The Center for Prevention and Counseling is seeking a part-time, independently licensed clinician to provide drug and alcohol counseling services off-site at Norwalk public high schools two days a week and at Positive Directions' Outpatient Treatment Clinic one day per week. In this dual role, the Licensed Clinician will primarily be responsible for maintaining a caseload of students (and some group facilitation) who have been identified by school administration or self-identified as struggling with substance misuse. The Licensed Clinician will collaborate with each school's administration, teachers, and other school-based mental health providers at each high school. In addition, the Licensed Clinician is responsible for providing drug and alcohol counseling services at Positive Directions to individuals and families with a variety of presenting issues and diagnoses. This position is to be carried out in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and under the supervision of the Clinical and Medical Director at Positive Directions. All employees are responsible for maintaining the supportive and collaborative work culture that Positive Directions has established and prides itself on.
